Harry Potter took the world by storm and Rowling is a celebrity undoubtably, this movie studio tour ensures that much desired back stage view of one of the most compelling storylines till date. Went with my nephew and niece and boy did they love it!! Might go there again but with a few other potterheads for an experience worth remembering.

I think the book is really childish and I do not like it very much. The movie is a bit better.

“A must see for every Harry Potter fan!”

Great tour! Great service from all members of the staff which were nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Organized parking, good food in the cafe. They say that normally the tour takes about 2 hours, but I managed to spend almost 4 hours only by making a mental note that I will return in the future. I visited on a Wednesday in October, not a very busy period. If you can, try visiting it during the week days, I'm sure the place can get easily crowded. We hired the digital audio-guide which was ok, and both of us had to ask for a replacement because the battery was running low. They brought to us the replacement inside the studio, really helpful staff!!! As a great Harry Potter fan I enjoyed every little bit of the tour, though I regret taking so many pictures. Next time I will visit it without the camera ;) The only bad part were the prices from the shop! I arrived there with the intention to buy a Gryffindor scarf, but being an adult who works for her money I couldn't part with 25 pounds for a not so good quality purple and black scarf, maybe if it was scarlet and golden... Anyway, overall a great experience!

“Harry Potter London Studio Tour”

★★☆☆☆

written by on 06/08/2012

The studios were well designed, realistic and you felt you were a part of the story. The tour ended at the Gift shop. This was one of the most disheartening experiences I have ever had. All the students were shocked at the prices of the sweets and gifts. For example the lolly pop was £5. The sweets were not original, just the packaging. Inside was an ordinary over-priced sweet you can buy in any shop in England. All the students had brought money to buy something and not one could buy more than one thing as the prices were prohibitively expensive. Their faces and attitudes were so sad. I cannot understand how the studios can justify such a depressing end to an otherwise great tour. There is a fine line between profit and greed, Warner Brothers have failed to recognise this.

“A definate MUST for any Harry Potter Fan of any age.”

For the past 10 years Harry Potter has been watched and watched over and over again in my household so when the chance came to visit the making of of in Levesden we snapped up the chance. My partner and I in our 30's and 40's went on a Thursday @2.00pm tour. There was quite a few people but the building being so vast, everyone was well spread about so photo oppertunities were plenty. It's a real buzz as your walking around and coming across actual props and sets from the films, reading up on the secrets behind the animatronics and seeing all the incredible detail that went in to the make up and costumes. With only a small outside area but still with the oppurtunity to buy and try the 3 broomsticks butter beer and more photo oppurtunities with in the triple decker bus and the Weasleys flying car the rest is all inside and undercover, so it's an attraction the great British weather cant spoil. Without giving to much away and spoiling things the PIECE DE RESISTANCE is definatly the final exhibit, WOW!. Quite expensive, but for any true fan worth every penny.
