“Food outlet filthy”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Reaganq315 on 03/06/2017

I'm suprised health and safety haven't shut the food outlets down. First one we went to customers were cancelling orders because the burger buns had mould on them. We want to one near the caterpillar ride and spent almost 30 pound on three children's meals and something that was descibed as fish and chips. Never been served anything so overdone whilst eating out the fish was dark brown and curled up. When I went to lift my tray up my hand was stuck to it with slimy grease and ketchup. Nobody wanted to eat this muck so I basically paid 30 quid for 3 fruitshoots. Felt ripped off when I left. Don't care how busy they are basic good hygiene rule should be follows.

“Really awful!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by MariaElizabeth on 30/12/2016

I'm so sorry for this poor review but I have to be truthful.Took my mum, daughter and niece as a Christmas treat. The food in the pizza/pasta place was of such poor quality;Cheap pizzas, tastless pasta - a rip off at £10 per head. Then another £2 for as much as you can drink but drinks machine ran out of hot water so couldn't have hot chocolate like we wanted.Only tea/coffee available and cordial. No spoons to stir so had to use knife. Now for the panto!!Beauty & the Beast! When your 8 year old niece asks after 30 minutes if we can go then that says it all!! The panto would have been quite good had the sound system been better. It was so muffled that we could hardly hear it. The actors were at the front and the sound came from the back. The seating was terrible. Children were sat behind adults so they couldn't see properly. It wasn't like a theatre whereby the seats are all higher than the ones in front. They had 3 levels but they stretched really far back and there were so many seats all cramped together that you couldn't see without really stretching your neck. We left after 35 minutes. The rides are all dated and rickety and the good ones weren't open. So so disappointed. Good money wastefully spent. We won't be going back.

“Don't go ! Shabby dated and dirty!!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Lilith1 on 09/06/2016

Very poor over priced so called theme park ! At £17.99 per head ( no child concesions) ! The paying public deserve better . An accident waiting to happen . The rides that are open appear rickety and flimsy , ! No hand maps are available - so how does a parent know where a first aid post is ? Or indeed who one can contact in emergencies. Have Gullivers World got a clue ? A large 'theme ' is based on Cowboys and Indians ! Antiquated and politically incorrect ! At these prices I would expect much much more . Don't bother going. You may regret it if you do !

“Shabby Tired Dirty”

★☆☆☆☆

written by 188O'Connor on 24/07/2014

Please remember this is a fun place to visit and it is for children, adults are there to ensure the children enjoy the day, that said- the staff are rude, well some are, the so called managers are insensative, purile and not worth trying to get a problem sorted out because they do not have the skills or the mind set ie no training add that to a money grabbing setup that takes cash from a guest from the very moment they arrive why even the cash machine in the front area charges to take money out-and the company gets 95p from every transaction-fact. Rides, rides are not cleaned properly I know I used to try and clean as many as I was told to, they are also run till a breakage forces closure, and with the new web site i guess the managers could put a notice to such effect-but it is never done-call them todat and ask what rides are not working-you will not get a proper answer-this spoills the day for some guests who only visit to ride on the Elephant ride but it not there anymore! It is at Matlock-this is no good if you visit Warrington? Staff, Ride staff, indeed most of the staff a Warrington work an 8 hour shift-1/2 an hour for lunch and mabye a comfort break mid afternoon- all on minimum wage, and in warm weather, no drinks or if drinks are allowed in specific containers mabye to ensure only juice or water is consumed. Security staff are not allowed to take drinks out onto the outer areas or onto the carpark, I have seen and heard a conversation to this subject, and on the matter of drinks, managers and senior staff have water machines and drinks free to use but not any one else is allowed why, R.I.P. perhaps? Food, this subject is simple take a picnic-packed food or go to a Maccies, do not eat anything in this place full stop, again do not buy food in this park. In closure, mabye 10 years ago it was the place to go but you can have a better time for less money and less risk to your'e safety take my advice DO NOT VISIT THIS THEME PARK.

“Terrible, Run down”

★☆☆☆☆

written by duane.silvers on 28/05/2014

took my family there on Bank holiday monday for the day it cost in excess of £80 for entrance only to find the place is extremely run down, Nothing worked on the canyon ride Quote from their web site " be warned they will get wet again " cant get wet when the attractions DONT WORK. Sky Tours Observation Tower, NOT WORKING. the dinosaurs were well weathered ( Paint flaking off and Green mould growing on them. another ride ( i forget the name ) had cars that go round a track with guns in the front to shoot red lights inside the attraction. we are a family of 5 and took 3 ars round it and NONE of the guns worked Hence None of the features in the attraction worked. We are especially taken aback by the Guy running the Dino Safari Tours he should never be allowed to deal with the public, he was rude and arrogant. My youngest is 6 and she said was bored most of the attractions because they didnt work. it was not worth the money and we will never return to any of the gulliver parks again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY go somewhere else instead. Visited May 2014

“Gullivers World Warrington”

★★☆☆☆

written by on 05/05/2014

I visited Gullivers World Warrington today with our 2 daughters, one who is 19 months (below 90cm) and one who has just turned 4 (100cm). Our friend also came with her two of a similar age/ height. Luckily my husband decided to tag long at the last minute and was able to look after the two girls below 90cm as we found only 4 rides they could go on. If he hadn't been there then we would not have been able to take our 4 year olds on anything as there wasn't much for them to go on alone and it would have been a total waste of money. Although entry is free to those under 90cm I found the £17 gate price for an adult to just stand there babysitting the young ones was rather steep. Next time we would leave the little ones at home and wait until they reach 120cm high. We did however manage to spend the whole day there but found our kids were more drawn towards the many climbing frame park type areas there were, something we could have just got at the local park for free. The rides they could go on were of a similar type iin each zone. A carousel, a car that tours around a track or a train. We boycotted the log flume as the queues were over 45 mins for a 45 second ride that our littlest ones would have been waiting outside for. Although the kids loved running around all day I found the £51 pretty steep for the 7 similar rides they went on and am just glad we took a picnic to keep costs down. Our advice would be if you have two kids of similar age/ height to ours thn consider leaving one at home or waiting until they grow! X

“Disgusting!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by SL-Embroidery on 14/04/2014

Gulliver's World Warrington - Attendant was rude to us, then hurt me by slamming the bar on the ride down twice in the groin before I had to get off without going on the ride, only to find he had smash my mobile phone. The company took a week to respond and have now said they will not pay for the repairs, small minded since our annual passes where due to be renewed for the whole family. I am passing this to our solicitors and will not be going again.

“Good day out”

★★★☆☆

written by on 29/08/2013

My 6 year old enjoyed the day. Plenty to do. One negative. The face painting section needs more people working there. Daughter waited half an hour to get her face painted even though she only had 3 kids in front of her. Just one girl doing the face painting at such a big place isnt great!

We went to gullivers world, warrington, yesterday for the first time to see the moshi monsters. The staff were nice and very helpful. We went on the joker it was bouncy and very high. Next we went on the mad hatter's tea party ride it was so fast i almost felt sick. My favourite rides were the pirate ship, the runaway train and the flight of the pteranodon. I can't wait to go back with my mum. Hope this review helps.

“Don't bother!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 20/02/2013

We decide to go to gulivers world Warrington to take my two year old to see Santa. We was going to pay £25 each for tickets but the wife's friend had to cancel so we bought them for £30 for 3. The park looks very run down on entry and there were various models and stuffed reindeer etc behind glass with a button to press to make them move. None of them worked in the entire park. We had booked breakfast with Santa which was basically a rationed fryer breakfast of pretty poor quality with a quick sighting of Santa. He did have time for a few pics which was good. The grotto was really good and decorated very impressively and due to the fact there is many santas behind many doors the queue moves very quickly. The gifts were garbage and my two year old had pulled the legs off her doll in less than and hour. We tried to squeeze into one of the very run down flakey painted restaurants only to get a seat where the roof leaked into a puddle on the bench in the booth. We left because the card machine was broken. The next place we tried was the soft play section. I have a bigger bathroom than the soft play area and there is only about 10 chairs max so you have to stand with your coffee etc and constantly get knocked into. The last restaurant looked the best and had a good sized play area for the kids but alas the card Machine as broke again so we went home early to get food. Lastly the toilets had t been cleaned in ages and the troughs are all stained and stinking clogged with chewing gum. Also don't bother with the panto. The stage decor is home made trash and the staff can't be bothered to dance or a t properly. Seriously I never really moan about stuff and did have an ok day but would never come back it is just very poor and run down with inadequate staff and dirty cramped facilities. Don't go!

Had a Brillant time today with 2 6yr old Girls and a 14 month old, had a whale of a time and the Staff let us stay in longer we were there 5 hours , and the kids didnt complain once (which is unheard of) they loved the water slides and the big tipping bucket of water. The only negatives were, it was slightly smaller than i expected and a couple of the water wheels were out of order, but the kids didnt seem to mind at all and had great fun. all in all we found it to be great value for money and a fun filled day for all. would recommend to anyone
