We just returned from the most amazing 4-week vacation split between Ecuador (Cloud Forest and Galapagos) and Peru. Think Galapagos couldn’t have been more thoughtful in planning this trip for us. They understood perfectly what our family was looking for and came up with a wonderful personalized itinerary that suited us beautifully. The trip was superb and everything worked out perfectly. We appreciate how difficult this must be with a tailor made itinerary and are very appreciative and admiring of how well you organize and run your logistics. The personal attention and service from so many people. At El Monte the owner personally guided us, at Zuleta they treated us like royalty. The service at Mansion Alcazar was exceptional. Sailing the Galapagos on The Beagle was wondrous.

A truly wonderful holiday, everything went like clockwork. The staff were second to none in the arrangements and no hitches at all. Saw plenty of wonderful wildlife, marine life and bird life. The crew on the Angelito boat we used around the Galapagos islands were super and the guide excellent. Just rather disappointed that people were allowed to smoke on the boat in certain area's. Every flight we were met and seen to the check in desk at the airports. It was the holiday of a lifetime and can be well recommended to anyone!

Holiday with this company started in 2000. It soon progressed to 2 and 3+ after all these years almost from the start and we are still FRIENDS MAGICAL

We have just returned from a trip to Ecuador visiting the cloud forest and then onto the Galapagos and this was all arranged through Think Galapagos - it was the most wonderful trip brilliantly organised by this company - the efficiency the level of service the brilliant guides with vast knowledge left us speechless - we love birding and nature and the guides were always willing to answer questions and show us interesting things - everyday there was something new to see and learn about Take note this is not a trip for those who want to be lounging in the sun - it is active but paced allowing everyone to make choices and take ‘down’ time when needed do yourself a favour and book a trip with Think Galapagos!!!!! We have been lucky enough to have travelled extensively in recent years, and we have to say that our trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos with Think Galapagos is without a shadow of doubt, the best one we have ever done. From being met at Quito airport and taken to the lovely and tranquil La Jimenita hacienda, through to our journey around the Galapagos was outstanding. Every day on the Galapagos brought something new and exciting. Our guides, Santiago – owner of Think Galapagos, and Carlos – a superb guide actually from the Galapagos – were informative and never once in the 8 days of our trip were they anything other than engaging and enlightening. We must also give praise to the crew on board Tip Top III – they were fun, courteous and charming and everything was extremely well organized. The food and service were excellent and they did an outstanding job catering for a number of dietary requirements. Finally, the organization of the whole trip from our initial contact in the UK, through to our boarding passes being organized, luggage sorted at the check-in desk, the planning on board the boat and itineraries explained each evening for the following day – it was all superb. This was a holiday of a lifetime for us and we are so, so glad we chose Think Galapagos to organize it for us.

Thank you for organising the most amazing holiday ever. The birds we saw in the Cloud Forest were mesmerizing and we took far too many photos. Our guide together with Santiago were able to answer all our questions- so much local knowledge which they were happy to share. The volcanos were breathtaking and the haciendo where we stayed (at a safe distance away) was beautiful and the staff so helpful. We left the mainland on a high but the best was yet to come. On arrival in Baltra in Galapagos we were met by our guide Carlos. He, together with the crew of the Tip Top 3 took us around the eastern islands over the next 8 days where the sights we saw were breathtaking. It was like being part of naturalist's paradise. The scenery was diverse and quite surreal at times. As for the animals and birds we saw (blue footed baoobies, albatrosses,sea lions,and many,many more) at such close quarters-incredible. Thank you for an amazing holiday. Still can't believe we went but we've got so many photo's to prove otherwise.

Having just returned from a tailor made trip organised by Think Galapagos I must say how impressed I was with the organisation. When planning the holiday all our questions were answered instantly and while there all our plans went like clockwork. We were met by drivers/guides,always on time and all the Galapagos flights and immigration papers all prepared for us in advance and given to us at the airport. The holiday itself was superb - we stayed for a couple of nights near the airport at Quito (la Jimenita,a lovely place to recover from jet lag whilst relaxing and watching the hummingbirds) then 3 nights in the cloud forest at El Monte lodge before flying to the Galapagos. El Monte we rated as the best place we have ever stayed during all our travels - the laid back but friendly atmosphere,together with excellent home grown food and the knowledgeable,enthusiastic and charming local guide provided all made for an unforgettable holiday. The Galapagos cruise (yacht Angelito) exceeded our high expectations - again the planning was perfect,the food excellent and the crew went over and above the call of duty to make us feel welcome. It goes without saying that the animals and birds were fantastic. I cannot speak highly enough of this company and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I have recently returned from the most incredible trip to Ecuador organised by Think Galapagos - truly the holiday of a lifetime. Every part (Quito/Andes/cloud forest/Galapagos/Amazon) was perfect. Our guides in every place were superb and their knowledge encyclopaedic. Our various drivers were all very pleasant and helpful; all in all, everything went swimmingly. The suggestion to end our stay at the hacienda Su Merced was inspired and helped to restore us to face the long journey home. I am sure that it was due to the personal knowledge and experience of Ecuador of the Think Galapagos team, that they were able to organise the very best people and places. Right from the moment I came across their most informative website some 16 months ago, I have been impressed in all my dealings with them. Think Galapagos is quite simply the best tour operator for Ecuador and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We had a fabulous time - everything went like clockwork. The pick ups / drop offs in Guayaquil; the 1st morning tour in the Galapagos; the Samba and guide and of course the Galapagos Suites too! The Samba was a perfect boat to be on - not too many people but enough to have some fun with the others. A really wonderful holiday we will treasure the memories of for many years to come. Who would have thought a holiday in Seville would rate as the holiday of a life time! Santiago was the perfect host and guide. He really knows his stuff! As a result members of his party have magical experiences. In Seville we saw Flamenco dancing, went on a bicycle ride, experienced the joy of tapas bars, had a memorable dinner overlooking the roof-tops of Seville in the luxurious apartment of a friend of Santiago. We visited Rhonda and Rhonda Winery and sampled their vintage before being entertained for lunch in the home of the owners. After they had fed us they entertained us by singing accompanied by a guitar. Good food, excellent wine and food and tremendous fun in beautiful surroundings. What more could anyone want? In addition to all the above we visited historic buildings in Seville, saw the tobacco factory in which the opera 'Carmen' was set, learnt how to navigate the quaint quaint streets of Sevilles old quarter and had a morning learning, from a professional chef, how to make sangria and paella. All in all we had what in America would be called 'a blast' I can't wait to go away with 'Think Galapagos' again.

I spent a lot of time discussing this holiday with Think Galapagos. She was able to answer every question quickly and authoritatively and was very sensitive to my comments and preferences. A really personal service resulting in a great holiday. Our Quito based guide could not be faulted. The hotels were all good - some exceptional. San Augustin and Mansion Alcazar merit particular mention. The high Andes are spectacular. Cormorant was excellent with a great guide and we enjoyed a couple of days on San Cristobal at the end. Fascinating to get some idea of what life is like on one of the islands. We were also interested to find out that only 50% of Galapagos tourism is now boat based. Island hopping combined with day boat excursions are increasingly common and would make for a different (and cheaper?) option. We loved the relaxation of the luxe boat but found 4 nights/5 days enough for us.

I just wanted to say that thiink Galápagos is absolutely the best possible company to use for anybody even considering going to the Galapagos. They will answer every single possible question you have, they will recommend that ideal and perfect boat and cruise for you and they will get you the best possible price. In fact, planning a trip to the Galapagos can be incredibly confusing due to the great number of boats and tour operators. Furthermore many websites are not entirely accurate, however by using the services of think Galápagos you will find out exactly what you need to know about every potential boat, every potential cabin and every potential guide and operator. All you need to do is tell them your priorities, the exact type of tour you're looking for and all the before and after cruise options you are considering. I can say that they take all the stress out of planning any trip because you can trust their recommendations entirely, all you need to do is tell them what you're looking for and they'll do everything for you. I cannot recommend their services highly enough, they are one of the best tour companies I have used for any type of tour and I would never recommend trying to plan a trip to the Galapagos on your own, as it is a potential minefield of confusion and frustration, instead simply use them and you will not regret it. They managed to plan a completely smooth and hassle free trip despite the fact that my father was very ill and could hardly walk. They found the perfect boat, made sure we had our own dedicated guide for my father, and create the perfect itinerary. We couldn't have been better take care of, and given my fathers illness, their care and concern made our year. Thanks very much Think Galapagos!

This has been an experience and adventure of a lifetime. It is difficult to pinpoint the high lights as there were so many - every day! ----- some to mention---- Sunrise in Machu Picchu, the birds, animals and the snorkelling in Galapagos and horse riding in Zuleta to see the condors! However, one thing is certain - the preparation and organisation of this trip by Think Galapagos meant that everything (the travel arrangements with transfers, the hotels, Tip Top II with the wonderful crew and of course Zuleta and all the excellent individual guides) worked extremely well and efficiently. We were so well looked after, we stayed in great hotels, ate delicious food in super locations and saw the best of the spectacular scenery. The enthusiasm of the guides, their knowledge and passion for their cultures, the wildlife and nature gave us not just information but an in depth understanding of each of the places we visited.
