On November 24, 2015 I bought an LG television based on prior research:
Model: 65UF6450-UA

It worked well until a couple weeks ago. When viewing a television show or DVD, the screen started flickering up and down and across making it impossible to watch. At different times it showed lots of pastel colors. The sound was not affected.

I contacted Sears Home Services to check it out. The technician had to replace the main Chassis Assy. It took a week for the part to arrive. Now that the part has been replaced, the television is working properly.

I am extremely disappointed that the television only lasted two years and required a major component to be replaced.

The LG TV quality is no longer very good.
