Bought the sachets for years but the new look packet is awful too opens up and the mix spills everywhere. The taste is awful very watery. So they are saving money producing rubbish...but will lose money, I won't be buying again!

“Why change it ???”

I've been drinking nescafe cappuccino for a few years now and what a lovely drink but suddenly not only has the box changed they've changed the ingredients now it tastes really milkly nothing like before got to say I won't be buying it anymore

20 years ive been drinking this cappunini sachet from nestle. This new look hideous taste is revolting. I would buy caramel if it was what i wanted! Now to find altetnatives.....any suggestions out there?

“Unpleasant taste”

I have been drinking Nescafé Cappuccino for over four years now and since the recent update in packaging, although we are assured that it has “the same great taste!”, I find it not only tastes different but has both an unpleasant smell and taste. Suffice to say not only will I not buy this again but I would most certainly not recommend to anyone.

The 'new look' box quotes 'same great taste'. Same great taste as what? It's not the same as the Nescafe Gold Cappuccino sachets I have been buying and drinking for years. This is like drinking a cup of warm milk - awful!

“The taste has been ruined ”

I have been drinking Nescafé Unsweetened Cappuccino twice a day for many years and thoroughly enjoyed it. The “new improved taste” is horrible and I will no longer be buying it. Why on earth would you change something that was so good? Madness!!

“It’s a no brainer”

We have been drinking this coffee for over ten years now - up until the past few months we have enjoyed it but given that the recipe has clearly changed we will no longer be buying it. Just googled this website and came across these reviews - we agree with almost all. Please, please go back to how things were - it’s a no brainer as far as we are concerned.

I don't know what they've done to change the recipe, must be more cost effective i.e. saving money, but it's now horrible. It reminds me of what Kraft have done to Cadburys chocolate. I am thinking of binning the rest of the packet I have and will definitely not be buying any again in the future. Well done - from 5 stars to 1 star - what an achievement.

Totally agree with you the new recipe is vile tastes exactly like Aldi's home make cappuccino which I also don't like and what's worse is Nestle are lieing to customers stating on packaging that says "New look same great taste" which I have just had confirmed by a member of Nestles customers services after making a complaint to them. They said it is a new recipe and they are sorry with my disappointment with the new frothy coffee range but are sending boxes out stating its the same great taste!! I will also not be buying anymore in future unless it returns to original recipe and if this is a way of saving money they are just going to lose more money as people will probably just buy Aldi's home make Cappuccinos which are considerably cheaper than this but there really isn't much difference in taste in my opinion. NESTLE PLEASE STOP LYING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS, there is no way this is "The same great taste" even just the smell of it is totally different and one smell/ sip any regular Nescafe Cappuccino drinkers will tell you exactly the same.

That's funny as I'd been looking for a replacement and have found that Aldi's tastes like Nescafe used to so am buying theirs, which are considerabky cheaper. I can't see me going back to Nestle after their lying to the customers even if they revert to decent tasting coffee

Absolutely disgusting, can’t believe the taste is completely different tastes like dish water , why would you change it. I buy 20/24 boxes at a time and just bought these new boxes and am absolutely devastated they taste vile. Nescafé please please go back to the original recipe, if you don’t will have to change my brand. Thanks Samina

I’ve been buying this product since it came out. I won’t drink any other coffee, but lately soo disappointed. No froth, looks creamy then just dead. Please return to original recipe, after all these years I’m contemplating on giving up as just don’t enjoy it anymore. Why do you have to keep changing things when they don’t need it. Listen to your customers.

“WEAK”

As soon as my stock is used I shall not replace it. The latest formula is a shadow of what was my favourite drink. Clearly the (expensive) coffee content has been reduced to the extent that I have to add a spoon of coffee to make the drink worthwhile. Otherwise it is merely expensive frothy sugared water. Did Nescafe think that we wouldn't notice?

“Unpleasant after taste”

We have been drinking the cappuccino sweetened product for years and get through many boxes a week. The last few boxes bought from Tesco are disgusting. We have been throwing them away,there is a strange chemically taste. We won't be risking buying anymore. We will seek another brand. It is as if something has been added and something has been taken away. Either that or a faulty batch. We will be throwing the unopened boxes away.

So disappointed with the cappuccino it’s really gone downhill it is now a watery tasteless drink. It does not have froth on it now and doesn’t melt properly with residue on top.Such a shame as was a lovely drink and now I will look for something better.

I did not like the taste. For the same money, I took twice as much coffee and a lot tastier. It just overpaid for the brand. I'm not saying that this is bad coffee, it just did not live up to my expectations.

Having been a buyer of this product for sometime, I recently noticed the new recipe Nescafe Gold in the shops. As with other products when I see the word "new recipe" I have often been disappointed. I bought a box to give it a try and all I can say is that it tastes like watery milk, very bland. I can hardy taste the coffee at all. For the first time ever I had to add instant coffee to taste it. I won't be buying this product again which is a shame because I really enjoyed the old cappuccino skinny and the unsweetened one. Why did Nescafe have to spoil it by changing the recipe.

I bought a box of the new recipe, had one and was very disappointed. I wrote a review saying this and rating it as poor but since I had purchased a full box I decided to try more. I am now fully converted to the taste, love it. I will continue to buy and drink it. I do drink your lattes, most varieties but not as frequently as the cappuccino but when I need to buy more I certainly will do so. I thought it only fair to rewrite a review because now l buy and enjoy your new improved flavour. Thank you.

Why are Nescafé not listening or doing anything about all of these negative comments about this disgusting new recipe? They must be losing loads on this product. I think that all of their loyal customers deserve an answer don't you?
