Flight Of The Conchords Season 1

The idea behind this show is weird, and the characters are definitely weird, but the oddity is what it is all about.

Brett and Jermaine have come from NZ to NY to try and make it as singers. Their career is going nowhere under their manager Murray, who also works at the NZ consulate. They play a procession of partially filled gigs and scrap by on practically no money. The deadpan humour make light of the bad things that befall them, as do the musical interludes which are definitely the highlight of the show.

I would recommend to anyone looking for a laugh.
