Asda may be keen to promote itself as cheap, but it is not. I eat a lot of fruit and veg, but if I buy it from Asda, the fresh fruit is usually hard, and tasteless even after ripening, or it is mouldy. Same with the broccoli Lost count of the amount I've had to throw away.
The quality used to be good about 10 years ago, but I have had to stop buying from Asda now because of this.
