“This is a dangerous iron”

★☆☆☆☆

Impressed by a presentation at the Home Show, my three girlfriends and I each bought one of these irons. The apparent stellar performance however, did not continue at home. The iron goes from releasing water all over the fabric to burning your hand while attempting to use it. Unlike the demo, ironing one side of a piece of clothing does not remove wrinkles from the other, nor does holding it over buttons to smooth fabric.. None of us is able to hold the iron without a facecloth wrapped around the handle to prevent burning. We will NEVER purchase this brand again and it has become our benchmark for attrocious products. IT IS NOT SAFE.

I would suggest that maybe you havent tightened the nob where you put the water in. I have had mine for 5 years and LOVE it. Never have yet burnt my hands. I sew, crafts, have 5 kids so am forever ironing everything including tea towels. Try again something is very wrong if you are burning yourself. I have many family members and friends that have purchased them after me and love theirs. If it pours water all over when your steaming you have put to much in or need to clean it. You are suppose to use distilled water. That is ultra critical.
