Platform not Novice Friendly

I feel there are a lot of little questions a novice needs answers to which can be structured within the platform to enable them to make a decision. In its present form the platform is perhaps very good for someone who knows what they are doing, but not for a beginner. I have some suggestions and would be very happy to talk over with someone from your technical department.
