Bought the Women's Cloudflyer, after paying £140 and wearing twice the started to fray and contacted them and advised this did not affected the performance so thet were not willing to do anything. So left will trainers that look like 2 years old instead of 2 weeks old. Would not buy again from them

On the 28th July 2020, I went to Runners Need Kensington store to request for a gait analysis at 11:40 am, the sales consultant respond was that I need to book an appointment online in advance even though there was only one other customer in store. He also did not offer me to book the appointment in store until I asked about it directly. So I booked an appointment with him for Thursday 11:45 am and today I got an email to confirm my appointment for 11:15 am. :( This shows how badly organised he is. I was served by a white male sale consultant in Runners Need Kensington store and he was serving at the till. I believe he did not make much effort to help me in my purchase, instead he made it so inconvenient for me. I would not go back to this store and will be purchasing my running shoes from a different shop.

I would like to sing the praises of one member of staff at Hampton Wick shop. He provided excellent customer service yesterday Sat 16 April. Thanks to him I now have a brilliant pair of trainers having been badly let down by run to live in leatherhead. I ran 13 miles today and my trainers were so comfortable. My previous pair hurt my feet so much. Thank you runners need for "sorting" me. Highly recommended.

Hi, Thanks for the advice and email. I went to the runners on Saturday midday at Victoria place London to return the running shoes and to get refund/voucher but at my amazement your "assistant manager(s)" They we're so unhelpful and clearly lost, bad attitude and rude. I did explain the situation and expected refund (as advised over the phone from head office). I would like to make a formal complaint towards above mentioned staff. I am nothing but sadly surprised and very disappointed with the lack of customer care, this is at least what I would reasonably expect from such a company! I feel I have been shortchanged big time, and the faith and trust at runners need is beyond repair. Please call ASAP to get this right! Shame on you.

I placed an order on 4 January via the web site and printed the order acknowledgement. 11 January I looked at my account and order just says received with thanks. I emailed customer services with all details on the 11th and 24 hours later I have no reply. Appalling customer service. I will never use this shop again.

I ordered a pair of trainers for me and three days after placing the order I got an email from customer services saying my order was cancelled. Nothing else. Not even the reason why it was cancelled. After contacting them, I was told the order was cancelled due to stock unavailability and no money would be taken from my account. As a goodwill gesture, they sent me 10% off. I have not come across such poor service, especially from a 'reputable' name as RN. Highly appalled that customer service can be this bad.

I placed an order on-line for trainers, Runners Needs took my money immediately, a week later they cancelled my order as they did not have stock. It took several weeks and numerous attempts to contact them to get my money back. I won’t be using them again. Don’t trust this company with your credit card details, they are not a reputable company and have no understanding of customer service.

Ordered running shoes on a Monday ,had to chase them up 4 days later as not arrived.Phoned 4 times before I got an answer only to be told that the shoes are no longer in stock.No communication before that to inform me that shoes were sold out.Customer service lady blamed the system as it was not working.ABSOLUTE B......T.Take my advice stay away there unprofessional, taking money with false promises!!!!!!!!!!

I am looking for where to go for some advice about my running shoes when to Runners Need Shop in Brighton the Staff in the shop was very friendly, she's so good and so helpful. I recommend this shop to everyone looking for a good sevice and advice for running shoes... Great service...

When I had first phoned the running shop I was greeted with excellent customer service! I could tell that even from the phone call the staff had a great amount of knowledge about running overall! I had gone too this shop to get a gait analysis and didnt even have too wait! The staff in there were extremely helpful and real down to earth people! You dont see that anymore! I would 100% recommend this shop to anybody that is looking for a good pair of shoes at a great price or anybody looking for a bit of help with their running! Try for yourselves! Excellent!

I tried to order a pair of trainers for my boyfriend for his birthday. Firstly, I placed the order on the 26th December and transferred money from my savings account to cover the costs. However, the money did not transfer until the next day, being boxing day and all. My fault, I accept this. However, I was shocked that Runners Need sent me an email confirming my order number and then never told me that there was insufficient money in my account. So, I continued to think I had placed an order until the 2nd January when I really started to become concerned about where my trainers were. So, I ordered another pair and have been told today (6th January) that my order cannot be dispatched as the Nike deliveries expected for the end of December have not arrived. I am appalled that it has taken until the 6th for this information to be given to me when surely this was known when I placed my order. God only knows when I will receive the package. My boyfriend shall be very disappointed come Sunday. So so unimpressed. Worst website I have ever used.

Drove 30 min to go to Runners Need Chertsey rather than 10 min walk to nearest sports store, all because of their expertise and gait analysis, to help customers choose the perfect pair of running shoes - essential as training for a marathon. Service and advice by far inferior to that of Sweatshop. At no point did the salesperson suggest a gait analysis, despite the device being available and the shop being empty. I ended up recommending a particular brand/model to my fellow runner, but without knowing whether it would fit his running style. We basically made a choice based on the advice I got at Sweatshop years ago when I bought my first good pair of running shoes. The advice I got then was worth travelling to Teddington since those shoes got me through a few marathons without a blister, and still wearing them 6 years later. We won't be returning to Runners Need.

Have already recommended this shop to several friends. The staff are very knowledgable about their sport and the advice given was brilliant. They went the extra mile to order in the exact product to suit me and kept in touch by e mail.
