Now, to the fuel: The Volkswagen Golf IV 2.0 GTI is magical!!! Once I got it figured out, I got the car to go on 5 to 6 l per 100km during the day with the stereo and AC off. But then again, once you play with it (and the car is really, really fun to drive between 4000 and 5500, especially in third and fourth, because those two gears are simply marvellous); you can literally jump from 40 to 140 in third gear, and more if you push the car, but 140 in third is very good. If the engine gets souped up just a little bit, and the fifth gear gets worked on, the car can easily top 230, eaaaasily.

Reliability? I owned this car from 100.000 to 140.000km, and it NEVER skipped a single beat! It always started when I asked it to, and it never even had a flat tire. The only time I had to take it to the garage was for an error of my behalf (accident) or for modifications (fitting accessories), but otherwise this car is amazing.

The comfort is OK as long as there are only two people, maybe even four average medium sized people (or two full adults in the front and two children in the back). It's comfortable on long journeys, and it gives a good feeling of the road which keeps you awake, and enjoying it :) I have got to admit, this is the best car I've ever driven or had at all, even though I'm more of a Peugeot fan and have been all over the world. I would recommend this car to anyone, anytime. It rules :)
