Green label a truly vibrant exquisite taste which dances upon the tongue. A purely magical experience which needs to be experienced to be believed. Gold label is rich creamy and smooth, Blue Label is Superb but for the taste and value for money my choice is Green label everytime. Bernie Robinson [email protected]

Johnnie Walker Green Label starts smooth, ends smooth. I haven't tried it neat, but chilled it had an interesting finish.

Sweeter black label without the aftertaste. Not enough on the nose and with a confused/complex middle taste followed by a long smooth clean finish. Need to drink more to work out the middle part... could grow on me. Black label dominated by talisker but this is not - each part smooths but also masks the others -- intriguing.

Johnnie Walker Green Label is finally available in the States! Good news. The green label is a whisky with a strong label but with a smooth finish. Give it a try, soon you may think this one of the Best Walker's around.

Talisker, Craganmore, coal ila , linkwood are all single malts are blended. At first one who is not accustomed to malts will cringe with the smell, however several sips later, you get to appreciate the taste. Several flavors are released after several sips and let the liquid get around your mouth, try pouring into a flask then smell its unique scent. To all whisky lovers try it this 'whisky turns blend lovers to appreciate single malt spirits' Overall I like it.

Would readily stock it on my bar. I recommend it to the truly discerning scotch whisky drinkers.

Anyone who appreciates single malts will taste what sets Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year Old Extra Special Single Malt Whiskey, pure vatted malt apart from blends. The flavor is very smooth, while still being full and complex in character. The aroma is rather light, yet inviting. The blenders at Johnnie Walker succeeded in making a scotch that finds an excellent balance between smooth drink-ability, robust fullness, and complexity. It is more rounded than many expensive single malts, yet its price is as high, or higher, than some of the smoother single malts such as Glennfiddich.

Johnnie Walker Green Label just tastes like a blended whiskey to me. Not distinctive enough to compete with other single malts.

What a stupid remark. "Tastes like blended whisky" IT IS BLANDED WHISKY! Also get it right - it is spelt 'whisky' when talking about Scotch

Couple things: Green Label is not a single malt, it is a blended pure malt whiskey, not to be compared to a scotch. 15 mature versions of two different malts are used to produce it...

Would have to agree. I was bought a gift set with 4 small Johnnie walker bottles (Black, Gold, Green and Blue) I have to admit that although its a reasonable drink I wont be rushing out to buy another bottle. I will stick with Glenfiddich/Glenmorangie
