Picola123's review of The Sims 3 (PS3)

“Ok for non-simmers”

★★☆☆☆

written by Picola123 on 12/11/2012

I bought this game as I wanted to play multiplayer like on the sims 2. Unfortunately they seemed to have got rid of that feature, which is fine. But the controls and quality of the game is ridiculous compared to the pc version on my computer. Firstly, you have to go through a loading screen every time you want to leave your house, I thought this was sims 3 not sims 2? Secondly, the map view only shows little cartoon-like houses and completely takes away from the game. Unfortunatly this game has been a big let down, for the price I thought I would get the features on my pc version, or even slightly less would have been fine. But all the features on the original seem to have been ripped out, and replaced with karma powers, which don't add to the game at all. This game has so much more potential than what they seem to have delivered. To anyone out there thinking about purchasing this game, if you can't possibly buy the pc version, it's better than nothing but if you already have it or are used to the pc games, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. as, like me you could be very disappointed.
