Spirit Solar installed a Tesla Powerwall 2 on my existing solar PV system (from a different supplier).

The work was done efficiently, neatly and the team were polite and listened to my questions and agreed on locations for the various bits of kit with me.

The original sales process was not pushy, and the salesman went to some lengths to answer my many questions and revise the original quote to my satisfaction.

There was an unfortunate delay between order and installation because of Tesla's manufacturing issues which have been well publicised, but once the kit arrived, the installation was very fast.

Spirit applied for DNO approval for the system to run at 5kWp, which saved me a lot of paperwork.

I have now received all necessary buildings regs and electrical works certificates, so all in all, I am very satisfied with the order process, the installation and the paperwork. Can't really say more than that.

I reported a faulty Solar PV Panel in late February. Even after numerous calls and emails, SOLAR SPIRIT have failed to resolve the failure. They keep referring to their service partner who has failed to respond to service request.

Why should you buy product from a company which cannot even get their service team out to fix a problem given three months. I would recommend people steer clear of Solar Spirit.

I have an engineering background and have managed technical installations, as a result I had more in depth technical questions than many people would normally ask. I found the design team to be incredibly helpful and knowledgable, communications were very good and responses were always prompt.

The installation team were also very good, everything was done on time and the quality of workmanship was very high.

They even help to croscheck my Feed In Tariff forms to make sure that they were acceptable to SSE.

I would most certainly reconnect them to my friends and family.

Spirit was recommended as a partner installer by Sharp headquarters after I decided to go off grid with my new built home in Kent. I was pleased with the speed they do their job - whole bunch of small tasks from scaffolding to a working system tests and set up was very fast and accurate. Tesla battery was a great choice to complement solar panels, and in spite of a slight delay on the supplier's site I appreciate the support I received from Solar and the system they installed. I also need to point out that the team had all the necessary tools on hand and left the site absolutely clean and tidy.

I had my installation of PV panels and Tesla Powerwall 2 battery installed separately, first the panels and a little later the battery but this was not any fault of Spirit Solar but Tesla were, shall we say, a little obscure about when they could deliver the battery.

The installation of the solar panels went smoothly and apart from a problem with Wi-Fi which was fixed by running Ethernet directly to my router the whole process was smooth from beginning to end. The battery installation went well, with the help of my wheel barrow, it really is heavy and as this was their first install of the Powerwall 2 it went remarkably quickly. The commissioning of the battery was duly done and all the software apps work splendidly.

I would whole heartedly recommend Spirit Solar to anyone thinking of installing PV on its own or in conjunction with a battery.

I have been very pleased with every aspect of Spirit Solar & the instalation of the solar panels to the roof of my home.The installation was carried out with speed & efficiency.They have been very effective & provide me with a very good income-far in excess of my energy consumption

I have been very happy with the solar 3.3KW panels that Spirit Solar installed back in 2011 and the on going service in rectifying a fault under warranty in 2014 with out fuss.

I hope to be in profit next year and generating for years to come.

Will made a site visit to discuss the eco energy requirements I was interested in concerning my new house build . Whilst we did not go with spirit solar for our air source heat pump , we chose a brand not marketed by spirit solar , we did however get them to install PV panels . They were very professional and made a first class job of installing the panels on to the battens of a a new build garage block , hence they are set into the slate roof and not on it . Many clcomment to the installation which is unobtrusive and neat .

The initial survey recommended strengthening the roof, and we were provided with a detailed survey. We went ahead with this, and the work was very professionally done. The scaffolding had to span the conservatory, which was done with no problems. We were recommended Solar Edge technology due to the surrounding trees, and this has worked well. The only problem I've had was linking the Solar Edge to my wi-fi, but that turned out to be a faulty home plug! We recently had the panels washed by a firm recommended by Spirit Solar, and they proved very effective. All in all I'm very pleased.
