Nokia E7

The Nokia E7 was called another pretty, in fact sexy phone from Nokia by many TechRadar reviewers. The key features according to them are the QWERTY keyboard with touchscreen, AMOLED display, sleekly brushed aluminium casing (it feels good on the hand), 8MP LED flash camera and the 3.5mm multimedia headphone jack.

They complained that it has an unwieldy browser, it is quite expensive, it has low screen resolution, it runs on out-dated software and that media experience is nothing to write home about. The issue

of personality clash was also a major disappointment. According to them, the phone is neither a PMP nor a business phone. Their conclusion is that the manufacturers got themselves confuse why making this. They tried to blend PMP with a business phone and ended up making a poor blend. But they all agreed that the screen is superb (there are no unwieldy keys on it), it has an HDMI output, it can be used for HD video recording, the chassis is so cool and the keyboard and menu button are nicely designed.

In PC World Australia, Nokia E7 got a rating of 3 out of 5. Buyers were happy with the design, the QWERTY keyboard and the 8 MP camera, but they were annoyed with the sluggish performance of the phone and the clunky Symbian 3 platform.

According to a phone reviewer at Pocket Lint, with the arrival of Nokia E7 in the markets, business users can now get their hands on a phone powered by Symbian 3 that have a slide out QWERTY keypad, 8MP camera, an HDMI output, HD video recording and some other great features. With a dimension of 124 x 62 x14mm and a weight of 176g, it cannot be called a lightweight, but the 4-inch screen, sharp AMOLED screen of 640 x 360 pixel resolution and the multi-touch sensitivity will definitely make up for any defect.
