The iPhone 100% changed the way I go about dealing with my day-to-day life. I have access to everything from the touch of my fingers and my software never fails me! I will upgrade soon though to the iPhone 4s as I know it is 100% worth it!

Love the llook, great graphics and very interactive screen. I was a bit nervous about the touch screen texting, but it was the easiest thing in the world, in two days i got proficient at it. its great for taking photos, and short films, and a great source of entertainment for my baby when we're in the car and she's bored. i expected the battery life to last longer though. fast phone, as well. in terms of price I got the phone through a contract so it ends up being quite expensive, but i get to use it for a monthly fee that doesnt hurt so much as paying the full amount in one go. I am sure is one of the best smartphones on the market, it runs smoothly and it hasnt given me any problems since I got 3 months ago.

this phone is useless when compared to something like a samsung galaxy s2. I hate the way apple are going, restricting what you can and can't do on their devices and still charging you a fortune for nothing. If you are still buying iphones, you are a brand slave!!

I really like the iPhone, it is really easy to use, and everything you need like a calendar, calculator, calls and photos are all there in front of you. Although I do have to say that if I had the choice, I would easily trade mine in for the iPhone 4.

since I bought the iPhone 3G (brand new £400) the headphones that came with it started to crackle after a month. when I bought some new apple 3G aproved headphones i found music to fast forward & i had to restart the phone. I bought another set & did the same thing, only official apple ones worked ok (poor/average sound quality & overpriced at £20) apparently this is a fault with the 3.5 jack on some of them. when I contacted apple I was told they wouldnt respond but thank you for the feedback! the only other course was to go to a apple store, the nearest one was 100 miles away! Also using iTunes is a total nightmare, very unfriendly if you want to manually put stuff on your phone (I have too much music to fit) & sometimes it would wipe everything off when putting ringtones on via iTunes. also when deleting songs in itunes it only deletes them from the program, the songs remain on the hard drive!. the screen is very good & the "apps" you can get some are great & reasonably priced, but apple's policy of planned obselescence is awful. release a new product every 9 months & charge the public another £400 for it. a good exaple was the new operating system iOS4 - released mainly for the iphone 4 - but ok for the 3G also, but on installing it, the phone ground to a halt & apple wouldnt allow you to roll back to the previous version. you had to unofficially mess about with it with 3rd party software. apples answer was to upgrade to a iphone 4! want to replace the battery? you have to dismantle the whole phone, very fiddly or send it away & pay apple £50 for a £4 battery. (better than the original iphone which was soldered in, along with old ipods, until apple were succesfully sued & had to make it changeable. Overall, its the poor customer service & poor build quality & high price that give the poor mark. the plus points is the great screen & apps. oh & the 1 megapixel camera that cant shoot video as its locked off is pitiful on a £400 phone - It couldnt even do media messaging when I 1st bought it! (if you jailbreak it, you can apparently. locked off as a extra feature for the iphone 4 - more planned obsolescence)

Much as I love Apple products for their ingenious design styling, I am disappointed with the Iphone. Not just the battery life, but the number of dropped calls. Frustrating if you're discussing an important detail with a client! I'm still going to upgrade to the Iphone 4 in the hopes that the battery life has been improved

The iPhone 3G is a great phone even though people are raving about the iPhone 4. The 3G is pretty good. I have spilled soda on the iPhone 3G and dropped it a million times and it hasn't broke. This fascinating phone hasn't dropped any of my calls and got good reception. The Phone is pretty light and fast. There are many apps that you can buy, but it comes with Safari, iPod, Setting, Notes, Clock, Map, Calendar, Calculator, App Store, YouTube, Contacts, Mail, iTunes, Phone, Camera, Messages, Stocks, Photos, and Weather. The apps are not expensive and there is over a million to buy. The battery lasts around a day if you are on it consonantally, but if you aren't then it will last around 2-3 days. The camera takes pretty good pictures for a phone. Everything is easy to find on the phone with colored pictures. I am very satisfied with this phone.

I love my Iphone 3G. Got it shortly after it was released here in the UK and it's still going strong. Battery still lasting as it did, no software issues (like I had with previous phones), everything just seems to work.
I use a mac at home so when I run a sync, everything seamlessly integrates. It's phenomenal.
These are notorious for being quite sensitive and breaking easily. I completely disagree with this as my 2 year old plays games, opens & listens to music and videos on this and has on more than one occasion dropped it too.
No real damage and it just keeps going. Only a couple of scratches to the side of the phone but screen has no scratches, no dead pixels or any other issues.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this piece of kit and can't wait to upgrade to the new Iphone 4.

Absultely love my iPhone. Couldn't survive without it.
Nothing at all negative to say about it.
I run my entire life and business from it and it's got hours of entertainment in your hand.
Well worth whatever you pay for it.

The best thing I've ever bought without a doubt! I should get it surgically attached to my right hand - I can't be without it! It serves as my diary, my computer, my games device... The app store is simply brilliant. It holds a good amount of music too.
I can't fault it!

I brought the iphone 3Gs from Vodafone in January as soon as it was released to contract customers, and without a doubt save for still trying to get use to texting, its the best phone I have ever had and used. Its user friendsly, fast processer for a portable smart phone and the apps available are fantastic. Its easy to see why Apple lead the way in mobile telecoms and all the other brands such as Nokia although excellent in themselves (I do like Nokias)they just dont compare to the style and user interface of the ipohone 3Gs, thats why you see the majority of people walking round with iphones these days! If I had one criticisum for such a smart phone the call quality can be a bit lousy at times and this is something Apple need to look at, no point having a fast super phone if you cant have a good conversation on it! Apart from that, I like the iphone and would recommend it to anyone. Some of the Apps can be a bit expensive and really more should be free, but one of the best Apps for Drivers is Co-Piolt live, its brilliant and for £29 its super value I use it all the time and its never failed me! Overall I would rate the phone 8 out of 10 and if the call quality and call dropping rate improved I would give it 10 out of 10. I hope they dont bring out another version though for another year or so, as I have only just got mine! Regards to all Nigel. London.

iphone 3gs is really a topnotch of smart phones, i really like the touch feel and the cool sliding effect of the phone. that's why so many people more and more like the phone and discarding the old phones. i will recommend it it to everyone.

Apple has built it to step-up ahead the performance of the phone. It is faster for tasks executed like launching apps, loading web pages, and rendering of graphics. Apple makes iPhone 3GS 2 x faster and responsive from iPhone 3G.
iPhone 3GS introduces a hands-free feature called the Voice Control. By pressing and holding onto the Home button, called out to the name or just the title of the song which you wish to speak to or hear.
Another plus point for iPhone 3GS is the new introduction of compass. It isn't particularly useful for normal day to day routines. Well, I believe it can be of some help in the event when someone who get lost.
In conclusion, iPhone 3GS boosts many new functions and as a smart phone, it is definitely worthwhile to get it.

Dodgy updates, lots of stress lots of unusable apps. Overall the most problematic phone I have ever owned. Useless updates that slow it down just when they release the next model. Always been a fan of apple imac products. But not any more bad updates made to get you to buy the next model. Byeeee apple you have to many purpose built faults that cost me money clever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If i want a phone to go wrong in a emergency and not work very well in general i will get an iphone. Not happy :( Gimick
