A Third Foot Feeding A Strong Well Shaped Deck Wit
A Third Foot Feeding a strong well shaped deck with a good graphic a pity the graphic came off so easily. If you like fliptricks and ollies get a third foot; they are not bad for vert either. This is in fact my second proper deck but I would give it a try you would be surprised by the quality, especially at the price.

I Have Just Got The Third Foot Feeding, Flying, Sh
I have just got the Third Foot Feeding, flying, shining, growing skate board for Christmas because I have had previous 'A Third Foot' deck. I wanted to get the 'A Third Foot Feeding, Flying, Shining, Growing' deck because of its rating and the good views of people. I wanted to add my view of the board, it is an excellent deck and I have not had a board as good or better yet. I strongly recommend this board to anyone interested. The board is very very strong, it has an excellent pop and great for flips.

It's Hard To Review A Deck, So Much Of It Is Down
It's hard to review a deck, so much of it is down to personal preference. I suppose it comes down to the quality of the deck and the care that has been put into it. The first time I skated an ATF deck was in 2001, since then I've never had boards from another company if I could get my hands on ATF.
I've skated a lot of decks in the 6 years I've been skating, from your Argos banana board, to your boggo blank all the way up to the famous US brand boards. And I can honestly say that A Third Foot, for quality, has all these boards beat hands down. The wood is pressed in Birmingham, the only company to actually press their boards in England, and the quality is exceptional. For example, leaving the glue sticking the ply together to dry naturally in a temperature and humidity controlled room for 2-3 months rather than microwaving them 10 at a time in 2 minutes like many big woodshops.
This quality comes though in the board you ride, A Third Foot boards keep their pop longer, wear better and feel just as crisp after three long weeks as they do on the day they're purchased, I can't say that for many other boards. The long curing process also secures the plies in a far better way, in the 30+ ATF boards I've gotten through delams and ply separation have never occurred. The Feeding, Growing... series also has two layers of paint and varnish on, this keeps the slide of the board for longer and helps to protect against the damp, which let's face it, is here for about 11 months of the year.
They go from 7.5 - 8 inches, and are brilliant value for money £40 thank you very much, not bad for a high quality board and much better than the £60 rip off US decks are over here.
The concave is quite flat, not a pancake like Girl boards for example, but certainly not as pronounced as Alien Workshop, Heroin, Landscape etc. This is down to personal preference personally I actually prefer a steeper concave but the quality of the wood is so good that I'm willing to make an exception. They flip like a dream though.
The graphic on the bottom is stunning, probably the most original piece of artwork to be found on the bottom of skateboard in Britain today. If you're sick of blood and skulls, or hearts, then take a look at the ATF work it is beautiful, painted by an artist, skateboarder and skateshop owner called Chris from Worcester.
And on top of this if you buy an ATF board you'll be supporting a UK company, owned to two very sound blokes, who do all they can to support the UK scene, especially around Brum.
So big up the Brum massive, and get yourself an ATF shred sled.
Great review, really thorough and has made me decide 2 get an A Third Foot deck now 4 sure :-]
