I ordered 14 shirts from Hawes & Curtis and the order came missing a shirt. I emailed customer service to no avail so then gave them a call. They told me that the order was complete so they'd have to look in the warehouse to see if there had been a problem. I would have to call back. I asked if they would call me back. They said no.
I have spent nearly £400 with them and they're disputing that a shirt is missing. As they feel the order is complete naturally it must be me trying to rob them of 1 shirt. Why do I have to do all of the chasing when it's them who've made the mistake? The guy on the phone was surly and rude. I am being treated as if I'm the one who is in the wrong here.
I've opened a dispute with PayPal and I'm sure this will drag on for years. A transaction like this should be easy, not a living nightmare. Do yourself a favour and use Charles Tyrwhitt.
Appalling.
