“The little things are the annoying things”

★★★☆☆

There are several little things that add up to an unsatisfactory build experience, although the quality of the finished product has raised the review to 3 stars from the original 2 I was going to award.
Firstly, the materials are delivered on site wherever the installation team feel like dropping them - in my case on a damp lawn, resulting in several plank, unfortunately interior ones, that now have grass stains on them - if you don't want to sheet an area, how about making sure the customer provides you one?
Next, and to be fair this is in the small print, you don't get a coat of preservative on the cabin, despite sales visits to their offices assuring us we could have whatever colour we wanted, at no point were we told this would just be several tins of preservative left behind!
Another amusing incident was that the door would not open fully, it was hitting a beam. When I pointed this out (the installer was quite happy to leave it before this point) I was told "there's nothing to be done about it". I took some photos and eamiled customer service, informing the installer I'd do this, suddenly something could be done and this issue was resolved.
Lastly, the interior of our cabin was left spoiled by hundreds of boot prints all over the floor - a simple dust sheet whilst installing would have prevented this and this omission added to a general air of carelessness on the fitters part.

Dunster House aren't cheap, and at their sales office they poke fun at other manufacturers products, but having seen their standards of work I'd say they have a long way to go before they could be recommended.
