My hair looked awful & snapped!! AVOID!!!

Used this product twice after developing an itchy scalp. My hair when dried appeared to have snapped off and was very wispy, it looks awful. I have blonde highlighted hair, and checked on the bottle that it was safe to use. There was no warning regarding this so I went ahead and used as directed.
My scalp felt better initially but I was horrified when I dried my hair. I am going to contact my hairdresser to see what I can do, but I certainly would NEVER use this again or recommend it.
