This shampoo is without a doubt the finest I've ever used. This shampoo outperforms all of the professional and high-priced shampoos I've been purchasing from beauty supply stores. I'm getting a lot of compliments on how nice my hair looks now. Its sheen, how it falls, how it isn't frizzy, and how much vitality it has. I honestly don't have the words to express how important this is to me. The fact that it is so inexpensive is simply one more selling point for this fantastic product.

I use this shampoo for a long time and I'm very happy. After many other shampoos hair becomes like dried greasy hair. But after LOreal Elvive the hair is soft and pleasant for the touch. Not using the balsam, but as I know (one friend of mine use it) it also helping if you have greasy hair.

So my hair is a bit lifeless and not very shiny, so I wanted to get shiny hair, and this shampoo is supposed to make your hair shiny and soft. I've used it for some weeks now and I'm so disappointed! It's not making my hair shiny at all. My hair has gotten more electric. The only good thing about this shampoo is the smell. I've tried another shampoo from Elvive as well, called 'Elvive Volume', but that didn't work either. So I guess I'm done buying shampoo from Elvive now...!

Bought the shampoo and conditioner simply because they were on offer in Superdrug and the claims it made appealed to me. I'm glad I did. My hair was noticeably more shiny from the first use and was lovely and soft. I'd usually have to wash my hair every day otherwise it would get greasy and feel disgusting, but my hair stayed soft and clean the next day too, which was fab! The shampoo and conditioner both smell great as well. Even one of my my male flatmates, who is not one for giving me compliments, told me on numerous occasions that my hair smelled amazing and was really soft! He even told me not to change my shampoo! Not had any flakiness or itching, and I love how light and silky my hair feels now. I did find that I lost a lot of hair whilst washing it however, but I've always been one to malt a fair bit so I didn't mind toooooo much. It wasn't one to help with frizziness either. My hair is naturally wavy and often does it's own messy, frizzy thing. There wasn't really much change to this. All in all though, the shampoo and conditioner were a nice change to some rubbish ones I've used before, however I'm still on the hunt for one that's perfect for me.

“Never want to buy is again!!!”

I started it use about three months ago so as my flat mate. It worked very well on our hair, it become smooth and nice however after few months later my hair started to comes off a lot during taking shower and combing hair.We both has the same problem until now after stop using it about a month. It might not apply to all of you, but i would not recommeded to anyone, absolutelly terrible product!

I DECIDED I WOULD TRY WASHING MY WAISTLENGTH COLOURED HAIR WITH THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE I WAS FINDING MY NORMAL SHAMPOO WAS LEAVING IT FLAT AND HEAVY SO THOUGHT A LIGHT SHAMPOO COULD BE THE ANSWER , THE FIRST TIME I WAS CONVINCED IT FELT LIGHTER AND A BIT FULLER BUT SEEMED TO HAVE SOME ITCHINESSS ,NEVERTHELESS I PERSEVERED WITH IT AND NOW ON MY THIRD TIME OF USE THE ITCHING IS DRIVING ME MAD SO I WONT BE USING IT AGAIN ! I AM ALWAYS REALLY THOROUGH RINSING MY HAIR SO MUST BE THE PRODUCT ITS A SHAME COS THE PRICE AND PACKAGING IS GOOD , ANYBODY ELSE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ?

Same here :_( I've been using it for the past 6 months, and it's been making my hair greasy and my scalp has been extra itchy in the 3 months. I'm glad it's not just me that's having an issues with this! I've stocked up with so many of the elvive shampoo bottles, I think I'm gonna give them away and switch back to Pantene or head & shoulders.

Omg my hair is itching like crazy too!!!! I thought it was just me that's why I googled it! I can't persevere with this product I look like a crazed person scratching my head!!

My head has been seriously itchy too, been using it about a week. At first i thought my children had passed on some of the itchy little blighters, but repeated combing/examining shows nothing. Going to have to give it up. That's a waste of money!

On Sunday I had a date but on Saturday night I stayed with another man and he is bald and has no shampoo in his home.On Sunday morning I waited untill the shop opened and when I could finally buy Elvive shampoo, I washed my hair in record time and was ready for my date just in time with shiny, lustrous hair.

This shampoo is great!
My hair is long (just above waist length),thick and wavy, this shampoo smoothed my frizz out and the whole range of the pantene neutrigloss help keep it calm and manageable. Also the spray gives my hair a bit of shine after I straighten it. HOWEVER the shampoo,conditioner,cream and spray cause some scalp itchiness, but this could just be me :)
4/5 STARS! YAY!!

I have tried expensive salon exclusive loreal shampoos and conditioners becaz i had my hair straightened.My hair was very dry,dull and frizzy.I tried this Nutri gloss just out of curiousity.It made my hair shiny and after a long time i feel like my hair has some life to it.

Other than 'salon brands' which are rather expensive, this is the best shampoo I have ever used. I have been using L'Oreal haircare products for many years, and this is certainly the best ever. Great results, nice non-intrusive fragrance, and rich lather. Who could ask for more?
I would and do recommend this product to all I am in touch with and do so without reservation.
I only say that I would have liked to know about this shampoo earlier, so I could have had the experience earlier.
I am overall very pleased with this shampoo, and will continue to purchase and use as my 'regular' from now on. I like the Vive Shampoo very much, and I must say 'Thank You' for a great product!
Great job L'Oreal, and continue your excelllent work

i used to use loreal nutri gloss and it was ok it left my hair kinda soft but at the time a bit straw like i would and wouldnt recomed it because i ve stop usingit because i found a better one and im very happy now no more chopping or changing still got the shampoo lieying in the bathroom getting old never gonna use it goin to maybe through it in the dust bin its kinda true it leaves your hair sticky a bit i hate the smell it makes me feel dizzy i feel sick washing my hair smelling sour shampoo i wouldnt go out smellin like that!!!!!!!would u??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

After couple of times using LOreal Elvive Nutri Gloss i noticed that it made my hair kinda greasy and sticky and I got dandruff (i never had dandruff in my life!). I wouldn't recommend you use this shampoo honestly i don't like it. My hair is usually very nice without to much effort and this shampoo makes an effort.

I was actually really impressed with the advert of Laetitia Casta telling me I can have really nice soft shiny strong hair, so I bought some of the shampoo and conditioner. I used it but when I dried my hair using a hairdryer, it wasn't soft, shiny and anything like Laetitia's hair on the advert...it was dry, straw like and frizzy.

Smells great, makes my hair feel clean, shiny and healthy. Not the cheapest shampoo...at least not here in South Africa.
But still worth buying. A definite favourite for me. I'll more than certainly buy it again.
(I have medium length, oily roots/dry hair ends slightly wavy hair).

LOreal Elvive Nutri Gloss makes hair shiny and smooth. I tried many before this one and this effects from first wash itself. But can make the scalp and hair feel a bit sticky. Go for it if you have dry/frizzy hair but a big no for oily hair.

I've only just bought it and I get the exact same reaction, only used it twice but I can't stop itching!! It's a shame really as this is the softest my hairs ever felt
