I have been sewing on Husqvarna Viking machines for 10 years. I am in love with them. They offer features that I cannot find on any other brand. If you purchase from the right dealer, you will get plenty of help with any issue you have. I also use the Viking Embroidery software and my dealer has always been very helpful to help me reload anytime I get a new Computer. I have friends who have not changed software in 5 years and still like it. From talking with my friends who own other brands, Viking has no more problems than any other brand. Usually only the problems get reviewed, not the praises.

This is the only Viking I have ever owned' and as far as I am concerned, it is worthless. I have never gotten a single design out of it. It nests and bunches and tears holes in my fabric. I only use it for embroidery. I did not spend $3,000+ for a sewing machine. I have a Singer, a Brother, and a Kenmore for that, and they all sew circles around this piece of junk. I am not a novice, I have been sewing for nearly 50 years and have never had this kind of trouble from a sewing machine. I am also a technogeek who has spent over 30 years working with computers, software and programming. I have never been so frustrated in my life as I have been with this pile of rubble. I am debating whether to use it for a doorstop or a bumper block for our truck, it obviously isn't suitable for anything else. I should have taken my money to Vegas and wasted it there instead. Maybe then I would have at least gotten a little enjoyment out of flushing nearly $4,000 (including extra hoops and cds) down the toilet!
