I recently got the Joustra Jet Engine science kit and its great fun to play with. I wish there was more I could do but that doesnt mean there isnt enough, im just greedy. I have been playing with this kit for ages and it never gets old.

I recommend that you give the Joustra Jet Engine science kit a miss. I wouldn't bother unless your a sucker. It takes ages to build and doesnt really explain very well what its supposed to do.

Joustra - Jet Engine is disappointing after the excellent internal combustion engine model with moving parts. This model is designed to spin and make a jet engine sound. This is supposed to be accomplished using a small, hidden fan that directs air onto the model's large intake fan. The problems are many.
The little electric fan is too small to deliver enough air. The tube intended to carry the air to the jet's fan is too small and has 2 right-angle bends. (Too many restrictions). And the plastic bushes used as turbine bearings have too much friction to permit it to be turned by a tiny jet of air anyway.
