Top Abrsm Exams Preparation!

Just wanted to say thanks to the guys at the LMC and above all Antonio my teacher. It's been about a year now. I've just passed Grade 8 piano and he should take a good deal of the credit. A patient and generous teacher.

You should be proud he's on your books.

I will be taking the DipABRSM later this year under his tutelage.

Jam Packed Lessons - Remarkable Progress

May I take this opportunity to tell you just what an excellent teacher Brikelda is.

I only started playing the cello in January 2014 and with her tuition I have made remarkable progress. By July of this year I had passed grades 1, 3 and 5 - all with distinction.

Her lessons are jam packed, she does not leave any detail unattended, and she has answers for every technical problem under the sun.

I don't know what I'd do without her.

Recommended Through And Through

We have been really happy with LMC and I have recommended you widely.

So much so my husband and I would like to make an extra payment ('bonus/gift'?) to our violin teacher as a thank you gesture.  Our boy had the most amazing work experience ever playing with the Philharmonia Brittanica.

As you may know he introduced him to play with the orchestra which premiered the Bozzo concerto. That was fantastic!

Thank you for providing us with this unique teacher who has transformer our lives completely and injected so much enthusiasm to his musical appotite!

Smooth, Clockwork Operating Agency!

I really appreciate the great communication and, in particular the personalised and generous teaching, offered by your centre. Really enjoying working with LMC so far, very smooth and runs like clockwork. Keep it up!

Personalised And Generous

The kids had their second term with Tim from LMC and they are having a great time with him. He is a very happy cheerful teacher and the kids are really enjoying their lessons with him. I really appreciate the great communication and, in particular the personalised and generous teaching, offered by your centre.

Won't Search For A Teacher Myself Again

London Music Centre is a great agency, I don’t have to look for any tutor, I don’t need the interviews, CV vetting, no need to go out there and sweat for the perfect teacher - they do it for me. I'm busy, I don't have the time to faff about.

I have been very picky with our current teacher as we have had problems with so many self employed teachers who kept chopping and changing- their way or no way! I thought otherwise and contacted LMC. 24 hours later came the first suggestion which we felt wasn’t right for us. Second suggestion came up within 5 minutes later. I wanted to see more of their teachers so waited for the third suggestion came in and what a star. We ended up with the first option as we realised their choice was the perfect one after all. I’d given them 5 stars if their lines were less engaged because that is a pain to get through but I'm otherwise happy.

Over The Moon

So we've been looking for a new tutor for our daughter for quite some time. One teacher comes in another goes out but no one steady, nothing serious and we're at the bottom of their priorities.

Well you see, London Music Centre is different.

You get a dedicated team. So far I know three teachers and each one shines differently.

Without boring you with the details, they're simply a happy bunch of stars. Get them to offer you with a teacher. 48 hours later and you're as happy as Larry. That's that.

Best Violin Teacher Ever

I am so happy working with Francisco. I have never imagined I could achieve so much in such a short period of time. He is the best teacher I have ever had! Harrow

Slip of the finger. Well, because I would never have found him without the agency. Middle men exist in every walk of life and in every service sector so that's just a fact of life really. I work in pharmaceuticals and I can assure you there are layers and layers of middle men in every field, not sure music tuition would be any different.

And in any case if you suspect my review is false, then I suppose I have to suspect the same of you! I have tried a bunch of teachers before finding this one, and I never found a reliable one because they were always cancelling lessons and putting their performances first which was really annoying but if I don't like a teacher here then they just find me a new one, simple.

Yet another suspicious five star review! How can you be a 'former student' yet claim to be so happy currently studying with your teacher?? Anyway that aside, why not just get your violin lessons from Francisco directly and pay him, rather than giving 40% of his wages to LMC? Makes more sense to give the money to him because he's the one doing all the work.

Teacher Clueless

I am SO unsatisfied with the two teachers I have had from London Music Centre now. Both of them were hopeless in helping me with things and helping me get started with my new instrument (I'm just a beginner guitar) and I'm really very unsatisfied that this second teacher now keeps cancelling and rescheduling my lessons whenever he feels like it. I'm a busy professional person and do not take kindly to being messed about like this!! LMC are quick to get on the phone with endless phone calls and start pestering me by email when the next payment is due. That I find really annoying! Can anybody suggest a better place to go for my guitar lessons? I am just a beginner and want a guitar teacher who can read music and knows what are the good tutor books to get. I don't want to go through another one of these teaching agencies though, unless anyone knows of a great agency with teachers who actually know what they're doing.

Dear Seamus,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your dissatisfaction with our service.

At LMC we always take the time to ensure that we find the right teacher for each student.

We call each of our clients monthly to obtain feedback in order to confirm satisfaction and always welcome constructive criticism in order for us to improve our performance.

We would love to know which of our teachers you had this experience with so we can investigate this matter further and we would like to offer a refund for those lessons which you felt were below the standard expected.

Musicales

Best thing to do is go to a guitar shop or a local music shop and they'll be able to recommend tutors, and they'll also be able to suggest good tutor books too. Another thought is that quite a few community centres offer guitar classes for beginners and advanced, so perhaps that is something worth looking into.

A New Family Member

What a great session we just had with an LMC vocal tutor. My daughter held the teacher at her arm asking her not to leave. We want her to join our family as a new member! We are seriously impressed by their speedy and reliable service. Top notch LMC!
