A very bad experience from Brook street, supposedly I done something wrong so this company I worked at via Brook Street didn't want me to come back and at no point did anyone bring this up with me or chatted to me about it ! This went down one Friday afternoon where this company made up their and contacted Brook Street and it was on a Sunday evening almost 9:00pm Brook Street informed me via text message and email not to come in and I get a call in morning from them explaining why !! So I was baffled as to why I was told not to come in, work level reduced maybe ? AND then it came to me, did someone get tested positive for Covid 19 in the office so everyone had to self isolate ? That got me worried as I met several different people over the weekend all on different occasions so yeah I couldn't sleep very well that night with worry !!! I feel Brookstreet didn't fight my corner at all and just given in to the demands of this company - should of at least hear my side of story first by contacting me ASAP - you DO NOT just send me a text message /email the very last minute and give no explanation especially that time of night !!!
I actually enjoyed working at this company as a result I turned down a interview a month previous which I wish I didn't as I felt bad if I did go to it - how wrong and stupid was I ? And isn't it strange that agencies like this can just get rid of you with no warning and notice yet if I wanted time off I had to give a weeks notice that's if the manager allows it !! Guess what Brook Street if I ever get to work for you again and I get an interview I call in sick and go to it ASAP - I swear I will do that and will NOT feel bad and I am NOT joking here !!! I can promise you that !! ZERO Stars more appropriate ! Shame on you Brook street for treating people this way !
