I ordered flowers for a friends funeral and they didn't turn up. I had the same experience as many others i.e customer service didn't want to know and were very unsympathetic. I began emailing Lillian Rose Flowers who first tried to tell me the Funeral Directors had signed for them, when I sent them proof that this was not the case the decided a neighbor had signed for them! After many emails it was obvious that they could not provide proof of delivery. Truth is they had no idea where the flowers were and didn't care. They use a third party deliver company so could only send me a copy of a scribble and no evidence of delivery address. Probably the drivers signature who dumped them. Despite only spending £40.00 I took LRF to court and got my money back out of principle. It's very easy through HM Courts & Tribunals Service (Moneyclaim.gov.uk). It's takes about 10 mins to complete your claim and £25 which you will get back along with the cost of your flowers. So if they didn't deliver what you have ordered please do the same and hopefully this dreadful and unprofessional company will go out of business.

poor poor service I ordered flowers same day delivery for my sisters 30th birthday and they never arrived, I sent an email asking where they were and the company emailed me back the next day saying the local florist had an emergency and couldn't deliver but would deliver the flowers today and again the flowers never arrived
tried ringing no answer asked for a refund and not had a reply
do not waste your money here!!! how this company is still trading I will never know. utterly disgraceful

Despite being advised of a delivery time this was not kept to, and the delivery arrived at 6.30pm instead of 3pm when it was supposed to - after my partner had left work for home at 5pm. A caretaker signed for them and then they'll sit for three days until my partner is back in the office.
Customer services is a joke, not even an apology.
Shoddy service, shoddy delivery, shoddy customer services and by the time Monday arrives and she cam collect them, probably shoddy flowers too. Avoid at all costs.
Awful In Every Way
Paid over £44 for the flowers with next day delivery,thank God it wasn’t for a funeral as they arrived a day late in a crumpled box with several of the heads loose in the box also sent photos of them. I explained to them I wasn’t at my friends house any more so therefore could not take more photos .A very disappointed customer.

Awful Company Poor Management Skills
Very bad company closes early due to short staff no wonder no one wants to work there, they took my money and apparently delivered to my neighbour, when I spoke with my neighbour there was no package and further more the name they used for the person supposedly signed for it was not my neighbours name. After admitting they had been delivered to the wrong address they did not honour a new bunch for my sisters birthday and further more will not refund my money back. They say there is no corresponding contact number and only to txt or email.
I would recommend not to use this company that will spoil your special surprise for the person not only sending but receiving the flowers!!!!!

An hour before the flowers were supposed to be delivered I received a text to say there was a problem with the order and they would be delivered the next day. Instead.
I needed them that day.
No one to speak to - everything done very impersonally by text.

Oh! Dear, I ordered some flowers for a fellow member of a tennis club who is recovering from an awful car accident and after reading reviews here, I am concerned.
I ordered and paid by telephone. Later I rang to request a receipt; I was told they were sent out at the end of the day. Twenty four hours later, still no receipt. I am now anxious that the flowers will not arrive on time and to add insult to injury, will not be fresh. Under the circumstances, that would be awful. What should I do?
My flowers were a day late! They are awful, never replied to my emails. Terrible customer service.
Has anyone received inferior flowers which arrived late and had no replies to the emails?
No. Never received any flowers, after ordering a "lovely" bouquet for my mother's 80th. But after making a big fuss, i did get my money back. You probably will get a refund eventually if you keep trying, though it does not compensate for the disappointment they cause, over and over again.
Has anyone successfully pursued Lillian Rose Flowers for refund through small claims court or been advised by trading standards?
I have been let down by this company as well. They take your money, deliver late and send you inferior, very small flowers for the price and then shut all communications down. They will not respond to you at all.
The reviews on this site are very different from the testimonials included on the Lillian Rose Flowers website which are all very complimentary,
I was very disappointed with the flowers sent to a funeral and complained to Lillian Rose Flowers and was offered replacement flowers or 'some sort of refund'. As it was too late for replacement flowers, I asked for a refund which I would add to my donation to the Macmillan Nurses. Since then I have received no reply to several emails.
I wondered whether they are obliged to honour their offer of a refund? My query was dealt with by the Manager and Director of Lillian Rose Flowers.

I have asked for a refund after 3 failed deliveries. When I said I would be reporting the company to trading standards for awful service, appalling customer services after I have had to send 21 emails, I was more or less threatened by company director that if I 'defamed' in any way they would take action! I will be talking to citizens advice and trading standards. Again, lesson learned that in future I will Google reviews for any online company.
