Since the latest update this game has plummeted it is now full of bugs, it constantly crashes, and the chat system is now worse than useless please scrabble please please please either go back to the original program fix the problem, or at the very least let the players know you are doing something

Loved my scrabble until 4 days ago! Hopefully the quirks will get worked out now it's frustrating . Dosent show players names , just numbers, dosent notify me when it's my turn, also I have a game that gives me no option to get rid of and won't let me start any other games. PLEASE go back to last version wahh. I loved playing with freinds all over the world now they are just a number with no chat. So dissatisfied.

I really LOVE to play but its very competitive online. If you cant play serious such as most guests that are not registered then PLEASE PUSH THE FORFEIT BUTTON! I will now delete any game that is a guest player because 9 out of 10 times they will not finish the game.

The only gripe I have is that the game is in a box that has 50% more packaging than is needed, the extra size means more tansport cost, more room taken up in the shops and more space taken up in the cupboad at home - totally unnecessary. The game itself is every bit as good as the original scrabble with the addition of the cloth bag - much better than turning all the letters upside down.

It is documented that over one hundred million sets have been sold, which says it all really!! This game is very simple to set up; then it starts to get a little more challenging. Only 2 players are required for a game of Scrabble (maximum 4, or 4 teams if you have a house full). The main idea of the game is to select a number of tiles then build words from the tiles chosen. Each letter has a numerical value, and with clever positioning on the board, bonuses can be picked up such as "double letter" score or "triple word" score. The idea is to build up as big a points total as possible. There are quite a few rules to get your head around initially, but these are easily "picked up", and it is not uncommon for "house rules" to be invented for ease and speed of play.
I would highly recommend Scrabble, as it really gives the old brain a good work out. If it proves too difficult then there's always Junior Scrabble, which kept me and my siblings entertained for hours on end!! Buy your set folks!!

Scrabble is the ultimate word game. If you've got an hour to kill then I can't think of a better way to do it then a quick game of this. I also find that it's a great way to improve your vocabulary, especially if your playing against someone more intelligent. It's not often that an educational game can be embraced and enjoyed by so many people, but thankfully Scrabble is. The perfect present for kids and big kids of all ages.

Definitely one of the champion board games of all time, I reckon it will never go out of fashion. I think my Scrabble board is about 20 years old now!
