Trying to buy the freehold for my property is proving impossible even with a solicitor. They don't answer emails letters and even tried to leave dodgy covenants in the lease that would not let me upgrade my property after purchasing the freehold without first paying them more cash.

would love to hear the outcome? Did you manage to challenge the added covenants as I suspect we are about to be in the same position
