The AGA Saucepan set retails at £199.99 from the AGA Cookshop. When used in a dishwasher the handles fill with water and drain out either during storage or during use on the hob. This is really annoying and when used on a ceramic hob, results in a layer of burnt residue to be cleaned off when the pans are used. The pans are dishwasher proof but I have yet to find out how they can be used in a suitable orientation that both allows the pan to be cleaned and doesn't fill the handle with water. Otherwise the pans work - well as a saucepan should.

Agree with all you have said re the water in the handles but also watch the bottom of the saucepans as mine came away and buckled. Only bought them as they work on an induction hob and had a 25 year guarantee. Won't be buying or recommending them again.

Hi Sophe22, the pans are fine, thick bases and close fitting lids.

This has also happened to mine. The bottom layer of steel is separating and peeling away.
