Parcel force have regularly not even attempted delivery. They will leave it at your local post office where you then have to pay to pick it up. - With no option to do anything else.

"They will leave it at your local post office where you then have to pay to pick it up."

There will have been two attempts to deliver before the option to collect at your local Post Office becomes available. The reason that you are aware of this is because you will have twice been posted an advisory card that clearly explains this option to you as a customer. You can also telephone the depot and request an alternative delivery address or a redelivery to your address.

"With no option to do anything else."

What do you suggest?

Would you you prefer to drive 30+ plus miles to your local Yodel depot?

Or the option to pick up at the local Post Office?

If a customer is not at home when a courier company attempts delivery (twice) what would you suggest the couriers do?

Maybe they should sit outside your house all day until you get home and charge you accordingly.

Get real.

Hmm sounds like you work for them and have a bee in your bonnet. my 48hr delivery has been taken to the post office without them even trying to delivery to the address that I have been waiting at all day. What I suggest to couriers that they do is do their job properly, and if they can't do that find another job. Stop blaming the customer. I wonder what you get out of these lovely replies you leave people.
What I suggest is... maybe Parcelforce should be informed of the replies going on this review site, usualy using IP addresses they can (with IT support) work out the location these posts are sent from- your tone is bullying and harrassing and you know a lot about the procedures of this business, stop shifting the blame.
