My Boxer is 5 years old and during the first two years I would of recommended Vets Medi Cover. it started at £28 a month, last year £78 a month and I have just had the renewal at a whopping £139.32 a month. The original policy was for £10,000 worth of cover. They have now put a limit of £3000 for the conditions that we have previously claimed for. I rang Vets Medi Cover who were most unhelpful and unsympathetic Vets Medicover is the broker and the last two insurance companies have not continued with them, hence the higher prices. The underwriters are now QIC Europe Ltd. I Definately would not recommend VETS MEDICOVER!

Hi there, I'm so sorry to hear that we were unhelpful. When was the last time you spoke to someone in the office, is there nothing we can do? I think I'm correct in saying that most pet insurance companies are not the underwriter. We actually left the last two underwriters because they were trying to put the prices up so much and we wanted a better deal for our customers. Please do keep in touch as I know that my colleagues are doing everything that they can to help customers who have an increase in premium.
