“You couldn't make it up !”

We had 2 cats insured with Direct Line for 5 years and payed ever increasing premiums for what we thought would be a good service. How wrong we were. Or cat was attacked by another cat and went to the vet where the bill came to £90. The excess was £70 so we submitted a claim for the remaining £20. Direct Line sent us £18 as they knocked £2 off saying the consultation fee was too high.I am surprised they didn't charge us for the postage.
