My PET CLAIM for partial amputation on my young cat's tail took over 6 weeks to be completed...I had to write, phone & e-mail very many times. My vet sent all relevant documents several times regarding my young cat's surgery and eventually Asda reimbursed me. Unfortunately, several weeks after this claim, my little boy was killed on a road nearby. Asda, again, produced APPALLING service. After over 6 weeks and in desperation, I wrote to its managing director (by name), giving full details of the long and protracted claims process and within 3 days I received my due entitlement to reimbursement of purchase cost for my little boy. I received NO acknowledgement of my letter from managing director.
AVOID THIS COMPANY....it's claims procedure and staff efficiency are POOR and you can expect to make very many calls (speaking with a different call centre advisor every time...the right-hand doesn't know what the left-hand is doing.

i have just read this review and have to agree with the author. I claimed from Asda last year and, even though they werent all that fast, i did at least get paid. One year later and i am trying to claim again for the same pet and have now waited one month so far. They have asked me (after having the claim for two weeks) if i could send them the previous 12 months history, which i did that day, when i rang them up to chase,a note on their system said that they wanted previous 12 months history!i didnt even get a letter and wouldnt have known this had i not phoned! especially as they have already had info, left 2 messages today for them to phone me back-they havent and are now closed! am not getting anywhere and they wont let me speak with a manager. will not recommend Asda pet to anyone
