My pension process did take a while to go through but this was not due in any way to your company's skills and expertise and keeping me notified and well informed at each stage of the process. I requested a quotation which I received. I then requested no further contact unless I initiated it. To date I have received a further 16 calls which I have not and will not answer. My pension expert must be desparate for business if they feel the need to continue with pursuit of my pension funds.

My experience with My Pension Experts has been disapointing! I found I was being passed around to all different staff members who clearly didnt know what they were talking about. I didnt receive the weekly updates I was PROMISED and felt I was the one doing all the chasing which was supposed to be their job! Certainly wouldnt recommend this company to anyone! I feel like I must have been passed to all admin staff all who seemed they didnt want to help me and came accross as very abrupt on the phone. such an upsetting expericing that has caused me no end of stress! The only time I was spoken to nicely was when I received a call asking if I would leave them a 5* review?!?

As I approached retirement I realised that over my career I had acquired 10 pensions with 7 different pension companies. I was aware of the new pension freedoms and wished to take advantage of the many options I perceived were available to me. I approached all the pension companies to start a process of combining my policies to access flexible drawdown and purchase a lifetime annuity. After two months, with very little progress, I realised I was facing 10 ‘brick walls’ with no prospect of achieving my aims. At this point I found My Pension Expert and my first contact was with a man who was extremely helpful and supportive. Together we worked out a number of options to suit my needs. He then referred me to a financial Advisor who reviewed my needs and the options proposed. On his advice, the options were refined and progressed. Another advisor then became involved to ensure all the pension companies were contacted, the transfers happened and the new policies were put in place. As you can imagine this took some time, however, at every stage she kept me informed on the progress of each pension against a time schedule, chasing where necessary. At all times they were available to discuss any questions, or concerns I may have had and where necessary were quick to reply and up-date. I am very satisfied with their efficient and effective service and would, without question, recommend My pension Expert.

From the very first phone call everything was clearly spelt out and explained. E-mails came when they were meant to; phone calls were received when they were scheduled and paper-work arrived on time - always. Help was available had it been needed - it wasn't - either via e-mail, telephone or snail-mail and the people who were assigned to my application were alway friendly and helpful. if there was a down-side it was that, at the start of the enquiry, I felt a little pressured but I guess it's only to be expected since they were after my business; I almost bailed at this point. It would also have helped if the % rate for the service was made clearer at the start. Overall though...5 stars.
