After having owned a number of Seagull Outboards I decided that I should at least write a review of these great old outboards. I have owned two British Seagull Forty plus. I have used them on my tender and once had to use it after having problems with my inboard on a Snapdragon 23 feet cruiser. They are the most reliable outboards I have ever used I have owned a lot of outboards over the years including 4 stroke models. Pro's They are very cheap to buy Easy to repair Cheap to run Very light 13 kg They always start Easy to stow due to size Cons Two stroke need to mix fuel Oily motors Pull cord is easily lost A little noisy  I have pictures of my Forty Plus that I paid just £25 for
