They take your money if you have a problem they block you. And they don't have a number

I ordered from their Ebay online store and after a couple of weeks I contacted them to see where the item was. Firstly they just said it had been sent. So I waited another few days and asked again where the item was. They said they'd chase Royal Mail and get back. They didn't. I chased again. They told me to open an Ebay dispute as a lot of people steal from them and it helped determine who those people were. I didn't like the implication but opened a dispute and received the money back. I still needed the item so went back on to buy another to discover that the vendor has declined to sell to me again. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they'd actually sent the item. It took 3 weeks and 5 emails to resolve and then to be insulted and blocked is a pretty poor show. I have given 2 stars as at least I got my money back after going through the dispute procedure with Ebay. It's boring when to have to go through this sort of service nowadays.

By far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Items didn't arrive Yodel didn't deliver them, but signed for them. JS Ramsbottom has the worst service ever. They wouldn't send out replacements or refund!!!! So if you want to give your money away go ahead!

made purchase of a replacement slingshot band. Sells for £14.99 on Amazon, these guys sell for £3.50. Purchased 12noon Tuesday and was on my doorstep 11am Wednesday morning. Can't praise these guys enough! Would certainly recommend!

I've recently purchased items on EBay. Items very competitive prices excellent communication. I've even asked questions regarding stock and wether an item is stocked or not and received an immediate reply. I'm a new customer but have only praise for the excellent service that I've received, so, will be going back for additional items in the future.

Brought a scope which was faulty, had a fleck of black on the reticle that should not have been there. Contacted them about the issue and arranged to return scope for replacement. Returned scope by return of post the same day. Then just received an email advising of a refund. Contacted them they said that that the thete was no fault with the returned scope and so they were not sending another scope. Wouldn't recommend.

Airgunners in the UK are probably aware of JS Ramsbottom, a specialist mail order/internet sales company who sell everything but the gun. With regard to scopes, they sell most of the big names and also their own brand ( sold as "JSR Leapers"), and that's what we have here. The body is standard 1" tube, and finished in matt satin black. There is a small protruding lip above the objective lens, both sun and rain shade. The lens reflect a green hue, confirming coated optics. Materials and build quality seem high, looks impressive. Having mounted it on my Ultra, I raised it to my eye and was astonished- the definition of everything in view was very high with crisp delineation between objects, and the light transmission was superb. The crosshairs are fine in the centre, as are the mil-dot markings, making them sharp but unobtrusive. There is a choice of red or green illumination (whole reticule, not just the centre)and the brightness is variable. Everything that needs to be done in the field (zoom, reticule illumination, and elevation/windage adjustment) can be done with gloves on. 4 3-shot groups to zero in, with nice smooth-but-positive turret adjustment, and that was that. And, for me, 2-7 magnification is pretty well perfect. 9x may seem better, but I never use it on my 3-9 x 40, the increased movement is generally too much as is the reduced field of view. Didn't get the chance to test JSR's claim that this is a heavy-duty scope, because I didn't drop it and the Ultra has no recoil. Everything else they said was tested and found to be true. Summary: a well-made scope, easy to use and highly-specced, and an absolute bargain at less than £40.

Not the only person to have same problem, not a Leapers bug buster by any chance, customer service is appalling
