After much research around Maidstone Kent & getting 3 quotes I decided to go with Hammond's. I found the salesman very nice & not at all pushy. As I was having two rooms done he gave me a very good quote & one that couldn't be matched with other companies, I would have chosen Hammond's anyway as their wardrobes/furniture is excellent quality.

Pano the fitter came over a period of 3 days, he was never late & worked non-stop from 8-6/ He was very polite & left the rooms spotless.

I'm very happy with final outcome & without doubt I would/do highly recommend this company.

We recently purchased fitted wardrobes from Hammonds. From start to finish they were excellent, the salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful, the measurer did an excellent job (even though we live in a cottage and have quirky roofs), the fitting went very smoothly and efficiently and the finished product was simply perfect. The wardrobes fit so well in a funny space, best of all though, they blend in so well with the cottage. An added bonus was that the workmen left our property in a very clean condition and took all the rubbish away with them. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Hammonds to anyone thinking of purchasing a QUALITY fitted wardrobe. Thank you Hammonds.

I purchased a secondhand Hammond Dry Suit from a friend of a friend (knowing it was a risk so no complaints on that score) and took it along to Hammond to get the zip and seals changed. After a few days I got a phone call from Hammond. Before work started they had (at no cost to me) undertaken a test of the suit and found numerous leaks and a faulty valve. They told me that they did not want to start work on the suit until they had given me the chance to either arrange to get the extra faults fixed, or back out all together.

In the end I decided to back out (good money after bad and all that). There was no pressure one way or the other, no heavy up-sell of a new suit, just good honest information.

Although I bought my dry suit for kayaking I have entered my review under scuba as I couldn't find a separate kayaking sub-section and in any event they manufacture scuba dry suites as well.

Quite hard to find in a small industrial unit near Longfield in Kent. However, they are worth the search as they operate a tailor made or off the peg service that I found to be superb. Chris Hammond greeted me with a big smile and measured me up and I got my suit a few weeks later. Perfect fit and the cost was pretty much what I had found by research of other companies on the net. I had a small problem when using the suit - leaking cuffs so I took the suit back. Chris greeted me and remembered me without having to look me up on his P.C - a nice personal touch and seldom experienced these days. He fitted some latex seals inside the neoprene seals originally fitted. No cost and worked a treat.

Highly recommended.
