Bought a golf bag which never arrived. Tried calling and a recorded message says they have gone bust. Now claiming through paypal for item not arrived.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Purchased a 5 wood with a custom shaft and custom grip online via credit card.Club arrived promptly but with a standard shaft and grip. Complained immediately and was assured that item would be replaced. Five weeks later after numerous phone calls, emails, lies and excuses have given up trying to get the item replaced. Manufacturer kindly agreed to supply a shaft and grip as a gesture of goodwill bypassing golf247.

Do not trade with this company. The worst customer service imaginable. They may be cheap but DO NOT be fooled

Oh boy, wish I'd read this site before giving these jokers £243! Over a month later, many emails sent, but ignored, what do I do? Alas I paid on debit card so can't get redress there. Does anyone live near Oldham and can verify this is a genuine trading company???? Wish I could give zero stars. AVOID

I purchased a golf club 6 weeks ago and have yet to receive it. They have ignored 5 emails and when you attempt to phone them you get a message saying they are having phone line problems. I believe they have gone bust - why else ignore all attempts of communication! I am now trying to retrieve my money through my credit card company! Just try and order through their phone line and you will see! Also their " ending Monday sale 15% off" has been on for 2 months now and apparently ending every Monday and Friday!!! Buy from them at your own peril!!!

I ordered a pair of golf shoes with a promise of 2-3 days delivery. They have not arrived in 10 days and I cannot get in touch with them as they do not reply to emails and the recorded phone message says they are having a few phone problems today so leave a message and they will get back to you. This is obviously a complete set of lies and they do not return the calls. I will try to cancel the order and get my money returned but I am not holding my breath. I do not know if they are dishonest, incompetent or just rubbish at customer service.

Don't use these guys. I ordered a head cover as a gift and a week later it hadn't arrived. They told me it was lost in the post and they would send another.

Two weeks further on and after calls and emails AMAZON who I had used to pay emailed to say the order had been cancelled.

They didn't even have the good grace and manners to tell me themselves!

Rubbish - don't use them!

They take your money for goods they haven't even got in stock (or probably never have had)and then send you something vaguely similar hoping that you either won't notice or will just wave the white flag and keep it. If you want to send something back, they take ages organising a collection and then don't give you a refund even when they've got the goods back. They don't answer emails and don't answer the phone. Don't fall for the lure of cheap advertised prices because they are a a rip off. Terrible is too good a rating.

I ordered a wind proof golf top on next day delivery. After 20 days still no sign so. Emailed them - after my third email finally had a reply saying they would chase with the post office. 2 days later it was delivered via a parcel company and the date o the label was only one day previous. Opened the item and it is the wrong size despite the order stating the right size.i have emailed them agin to dispute and also started proceedings with PayPal

I have given them 1 star because there is not a lower rating. Bought a pair of Footjoy golf shoes extra wide because I have diabetes and suffer with circulation problems in my feet which I explained to Golf247 and got a pair of medium size delivered, so I phoned and was told no problem they would send out a new pair the right size and pick up the wrong sized shoes. 3 emails and 3 phone calls later still have the wrong shoes, no delivery or pickup. Had I read the reviews on this company I would have given them a wide miss. I have now had to put a dispute in with Paypal. Its a pity these types of stores are allowed to trade on the internet. So if you are thinking of buying from this store forget it, don't waste your money
