After surfing for a long time, I had read a couple of bad reviews of the cell phone repair training offered by Alfa Institute of Mobile Technology. Initially I was skeptical of the quality of training offered by them. But since the fee to be paid was nominal, I thought I should order and give it a try.

I have gone through the book and the DVD. It is updated and covers iPhone as well as Samsung. The video quality is excellent. It is very informative and provides many tips and tricks of the trade. It covers almost all topics on cell phone repair. I am a do-it-yourselfer and frankly speaking I have learned a lot out of it. It is going to help me a lot.

I also feel the entire training can be cut down a little.

Anyways, it’s worth buying.

The boos and DVD are fine......Overall its good, but you will need to practice a lot with dead phones.

They provided 1 manual and a DVD with videos to learn repairs. The quality of the course material and training method is good(but not very good). I had to do lots of practice as it was a self-study type of training. The manual is good and helpful. I asked them doubts and got quick response most of the time. Overall its good to learn basic repairs.

Very cheaply produced. You get 1 "manual" of very low quality will little more than low grade photos of some parts inside a cell phone. This "manual" also provides very little info about actually repairing cell phones. You also get two CD's. One has several "disassembly" videos of various Nokia cell phones of which you can find online for free. The other CD has some videos of some flashing processes but offers NO explanation as to what is being done, why you're doing it, on what phone, to cure what problem.

I found this "course" to be of no value and did not provide any "training" that cannot be found for free online. In fact there are online courses for free that provide much more actual repair training than this course. Save your money. If you want serious cell phone repair training then look elsewhere. You won't get it with this course.
