We bought 6 pieces of Heronswood furniture from Holloways for our conservatory. 5 were all the same colour but the coffee table was clearly different in colour to the other pieces. We contacted Holloways immediately who said we had to take photographs and send them to them. We did this straight away and the member of staff we spoke to agreed they were different. We were then told they would take it up with the manufacturers. A couple of weeks later we received a letter from Holloways saying there was nothing the manufacturers could do about the colour differences. We telephoned Holloways to discuss this and they were not helpful at all. They said they'd had problems with this manufacturer and basically there was nothing they could do about it.

We felt that they wanted us to accept sub standard goods and that they couldn't be bothered to take up our case with the manufacturers. We feel very let down by a Holloways and will never buy from them again. We would not recommend them to anyone.

Eventually we asked if we could have the coffee table in their showroom as we believed it would be a better match. They did bring this out to us and luckily it was a better colour although it had several knocks on the edges.
