Changing They Mind After Agreeing

If I could give -10 stars i would. after dealing with plant that arrived almost dead since 18/1 i gave up today on 25/2.(plant is dead now 2nd is badly damaged will take me 1 year to make it look as good as per phots form website).

1. Answers usually take 3-5 days

2. I advised straight away both plants look bad

3. Was updating them every 2-3 days up to when plant died.

4. Was offers to be sent plant again and 15% off to next order what was very fair but...

5. I was trying to be fair to and said don't sent plant yet I will order some more plants and all can be sent together plus weather was supposed to be bad/cold so it was reasonable to hold off anyway.

6. After few days looking on they website where all plants I wanted was out of stock I ask when they will be available

7. I was told shop don't know when they will be available

8. I replay i understand so please send me the plant that died now and in future i will used 15% off code.

9. I was told that offer is unavailable anymore and I can get discount rate on next order of cost of plant that died or accept resent plant and 15% off on next order. 

10. Case was open under EU credit card law with my bank and waiting for refund

Claessen Orchids - Withholding Order To Entice You To Order

1 star because I cannot give less, apparently.

Recently I have placed an order at this company for 2 hoya's. The total price came to €45 euro, €52 with shipping.

I only received 1 hoya (luckily the more expensive of €25, a ). Despite the track and trace showing there was but the 1 package, which was very clearly a cardboard box made for 1 plant, their customer service did not want to hear about this.

It does not matter that I send images on which is very visible that I had gotten 1 plant and that the other one has not been sent even, with the mention of "package 1/1", the given response was "according to our system it all worked out well."

Very annoying and the supposed solution is utterly useless also: I am allowed to place another order and would get the hoya I have already paid for sent with free of charge. But I would have to place another order of at least €20.

Of course I am not crazy enough to order yet again while they owe me a plant still, which is not being sent. It would not surprise me that they would not send part of the shipment yet again, in the odd case they would actually send both parts.

I am very happy with this utterly disappointing service; I was lucky this happened now already with a relatively cheap order and not with one of several hundreds of euros.

Only Company I've Used That Doesn't Refund For Damaged Plant

I ordered a fairly expensive plant that arrived damaged. Customer service took a week to reply and told me they cannot offer me even a partial refund, as that would be very unfair to their other customers. In the end, I got a 10% discount, which I obviously do not intend to use, as I'm never ordering from them again. Claessen Orchids are only good when everything goes well, but if you need to contact customer service, they're not likely to help you. You're much better off buying elsewhere, as most other companies offer a full refund in cases like these!

All The Way To Scotland, And In The Middle Of A Pandemic!!

I took a huge risk and order a Philadendron pink princess right in the middle of a global pandemic and immediately regretted it! All the way to Scotland while the whole world was closed down, I was convinced it would arrived months late and dead in the box!

How wrong was I?! I dont know how the guys did it, but she arrives super quickly, in the most perfect condition and is the most beautiful pink speckled dream! I'm actually in love, and its probably the best service I've ever had.

They Send Diseased Plants!

I've had a horrible experience purchasing at claessen orchids. I ordered 20 small plants amongst which 3 arrived in horrible conditions (a mix of wet, rotten, with leaf damage or flower damage), the orchids arrived diseased, and the rest of the plants had some minor damage (leaf damage or flower damage but probably able to survive).

They offered no refund, only the replacement of the three plants that arrived in very obvious poor condition, at the condition that i paid (again) the shipping costs. they refused to accept that the orchids were diseased and they tried to convince me that it was a birthmark, which through other customers reviews I've seen that this is a technique that they often use. They offered nothing but a 20% discount on my next order to make up for 4 diseased orchids that they sent, which i paid more than 65 euros in total!

overall the plant quality is very poor, and even though it might seem that you save money because of the cheap base prices, on average you end up paying a lot for a few almost-acceptable plants, because of the amount of plants that arrive dead or diseased, which you pay for and are never refunded or replaced.

The customer service try to convince you that they're giving you free plants if you only pay for shipping, while they're only offering to replace the ones you bought and arrived dead, and really they're having you pay for shipping twice.

Very Very Happy With Superb Quality And Customer Service

I have been ordering different plants online from different sources over the years. I came across claessen orchids almost by mistake .What a wonderful mistake to find.First i was blown away with the selection on their fabulous site .I placed my order sunday night here in scotland the order arrived wednesday morning.Great all round customer care from start to finish .

The quality of the plants in my order were superb HIGHLY RECOMMENDED , what more can i say but VERY VERY HAPPY and a BIG THANK YOU VERY MUCH
