On moving to East Sussex we were lucky enough to be offered a free sofa - 7 ft long 4 seater, however, with a tight stair case there was no way we would have got it into the first floor lounge - googling services online we came across Sofa Assist - having rung around various local upholsters who was less than helpful to down-right rude (“I’m telling you - it can’t be done”) we came across Sofa Assist online. From the initial call to the home-visit, we couldn’t have received a better service - the person I dealt with was extremely helpful, had great advice and despite a choc-full schedule - came down to us from London on short notice. What a lovely guy - he talked us through the entire procedure and took great care of the sofa - after 3 plus hours of unpicking and unscrewing the sofa frame - he re-assembled everything with great care and even fixed a couple of repairs to ensure the frame was secure…a real legend! Meticulous attention to detail - a real professional - I highly recommend the person I dealt with and his services - I certainly will be recommending him to everyone I know and would have no hesitation in using his services in the future.
