Had My Swan Sofas And Chair For 4 Years - Amazing

Had our swan sofas and chairs for 4 years now and theyre still as comfortable as the day we had them delivered. I would always get a bad back sitting in our old couch but this is brilliant.

Painfully Uncomfortable

We bought 2 Himolla Sinatra chairs - almost £5,000. We were delighted with the chairs when they were delivered but very disappointed when, in the first week, the cushion on one of the chairs in particular started to sink and, after sitting on it for a while, I realised I was resting on the steel frame, also the leather was very puckered. The chair became so uncomfortable that I stopped using it. Eventually the store, ‘purely as an act of goodwill’, agreed to take the chairs away and give us a gift card for the full value. We’ve now chosen new chairs (trusted British make which I am sure will be comfortable) and we have almost £2000 left on the gift card. I would never have thought that such expensive chairs could be so uncomfortable. Do your research well and READ PRODUCT REVIEWS prior to purchase to save months of stress - I certainly wish we had.

Contact your supplier if you haven’t already done so. Leave a review on Trustpilot, Himolla usually respond on there - they need to know about these problems and try to resolve. Good luck.

I've had a similar issue where I'm sitting on the metal frame but it took 4 to 5 months for the seat cushion to fail. I fear I'm now left with a chair that cost nearly 3k due to our consumer laws. It is not an uncommon issue.

Had My Himolla For 4 Years Now And Just Added More!

Purchased the Himolla Swan model from Smiths the Rink in Harrogate, excellent knowledge on the product so I was sold instantly. Its been brilliant so far and I've just ordered an extra chair but in fabric this time. It took a bit longer to arrive than I expected but they asked if we could speed this one up a bit, so should get it in around 2 months rather than 3.

I have the electric versions of the sofas and chair already, so easy to use and hits the sweet spot for comfort every time. I did notice that the leather stretched in the seat after the first couple of uses but Smiths told me how to look after this and I'm happy with it now.

Himolla Changed How I See Home Seating!

We recently purchased several pieces of Himolla furniture (Sofa and Loveseat) from my local store here in Florida. After an extensive search, lots of sitting, and plenty of time with our sales person, we decided to invest in this high-end brand. We could not be happier with the comfort, quality, and look of our living room now. We have the Zero Gravity Cygnet which is something that we could not duplicate elsewhere and love every second of it! Confused on the negative reviews on here, our experience with this brand and company have been nothing but first class.

High Price For Cheap Materials

I have had a Mosel chair for 3 months, and have had to raise concerns about the quality with the store we purchased from.

Firstly the padding on the arms of the chair has squashed to the point that in places it’s now non-existent

Now I am finding that the seat padding(Foam) has also squashed to the point that I can feel the stell support underneath when I sit down. So much for the claim that all materials go through a rigorous testing programme

I will sending this chair back and demanding a full refund.

Will now look to buy a chair based on quality rather than looking at the price and thinking it must be good

Almost bought a velvet Minolla Mosel today but pretty much thought I'd order within the week. Now I'm definately worried since I need it to last given the enormous cost. I'm absolutely shocked!

Particularly Poor For The Price Tag

A very expensive product, Very comfortable chair initially. But will not lock in anything other than the flat position. Plastic brakes not covered by warranty and cannot be repaired or tightened. Manufacturer ignores emails.

Shoddy Leather

We purchased a 2 and 3 seater leather suite just over 5 years ago. Within a couple of years the 2 seater started to peel in a number of areas. it was returned to Himolla by the shop that we purchased it from. When it came back they said it was inferior leather and it had been recovered. Now 7 months over the warranty the 3 seater has gone the same way on one of the middle seat panels. I have just paid £150 to have it repaired. Whilst the repairer was here she noticed that one of the arms on the 2 seater was also starting to break down. This was one area that was affected the last time. She is unable to guarantee the work because she doesn't know what is going on with the leather.

Avoid Himolla

about 7 years ago, i bought an himolla recliner chair. within a few months a spring broke. after a few more months it was replaced under warrantee. after another few months, it broke again. as it appeared not to affect the working of the chair, i let it go. after 5 years, the padding on the left armrest gave up and collapsed. not as comfortable but still useable. yesterday, a sintered (i think) metal frame part under the leg rest, broke. this makes the chair uncomfortable. i shall replace the chair, but not with an himolla. at their prices, their furniture should last longer than this.

This review is very accurate. Himolla furniture is built very cheaply. Just had to have an arm rebuild on our three seater sofa as it has collapsed. I have photos showing the frame was built of chipboard. Himolla have completely ignored us and Funiture Village have washed their hands of us saying we caused it. Totally disgusted by the furniture and the furniture company.
