“Absolutely shocking experience ”

Absolutely shocking, item not delivered on the day that I paid for it to be delivered on. Was continuously promised call backs that never happened! I will never purchase from furniture123 again as their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced and despite me giving them chance after chance to resolve this they have failed to do so. I am still waiting for my order for two weeks.

“Avoid Furnature 123”

Ordered product and paid for next day delivery only to receive an email the following day advising us it would not be with us for 7-10 days. On contacting furniture 123 they advised me that although their website says it is in stock they don't actually stock they item they instead place an order with another supplier to deliver. Thus they just 'assume' the product is in stock. We cancelled the order immediately however we never received a refund and in 7 days time received an email from a delivery company advising us they were delivering the item. We phoned 123 whole advised us the order had been cancelled so would investigate why it was sent. We refused delivery of the table the following day after the poor delivery guys had carried it all the way to our door. We have since had over a week of problems with daily promises of a manager call back, which has never happened on 4 separate occasions, to try get our money back!!

“Terrible company, time wasters, incompetent”

The buying process with this company is a joke. I waited nearly eight weeks for an item, then it arrived yesterday but in the wrong colour. This company charges 13p/min to call their customer services and plays recorded messages. They keep you on hold and play music for a long time in a queue for customer services. The website communication is not recorded, it seems to go into some abyss. The whole process if totally frustrating. When I finally got through they told me to buy a new table! God give me strength. I will never buy from them again.

“Shocking Customer Service”

Absolutely appalling company to deal with. I ordered a bed, paid extra for a Saturday delivery and it never turned up. It took several phone calls from me, over several days, to be told it was not in stock. They actually did not think they should have notified me. Let's see if I finally get my money back! Do not use them.

“absolute disgrace of a company”

Ordered bunk bed for my children. Seemed good at first. Obviously too good to be true.waited weeks for delivery date, nothing from them untill I phoned, only then to be told everything would be delivered the next day. Waited in all day. Nothing turned up. Repeatedly phoned them repeatedly told they would ring me back and never did. After constant phoning, I was finally given a "guaranteed" delivery date. Again waited in all day, and they only delivered the matress. No bunk beds. Finally cancelled the order, and have now find out I have been charged over £50 for phoning them! AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE

“Mis-selling items, Apalling after-sales service”

appalling service, Miss-sold item on promise that it can be exchanged and categorically confirmed that collection will be arranged and taken care of by them. but when requested they said they would not arrange collection or pay for that. It is a heavy table and I don't know where to send it back to. It might cost serious money. Customer care is even worse, very rude representatives, refuse to pass on to managers, being promised managers return call for last 2 days but no call yet. If you want to have peace of mind, stay away from them.

“Never buy from again!”

Bought a single bed online from Furniture123 - 3 delivery dates - no response - took 3 days off then they decided to deliver when i went back to work - luckily my daughter was in - Got rid of old bed - started to build the new bed and guess what - no slats! Contacted customer service and they were utter rubbish ... practically a week gone buy - no communication even after several e-mails - tried to return the base and the site is down for viewing terms and conditions so will not let you return it. Spoke to them and they wanted me to take a picture - ha of no slats - how would you work that out then! Have bought a new bed and going to claim it back on credit card i bought it with. Definitely would not buy from them again..............Oh and when we tried to build the bed the screws were not fitted well so just went round and round in the hole... Very shoddy!

“Resolved my problem well”

I bought two mid sleeper kids beds and a mattress, (Julian Bowen cameo mid sleeper is a great product) that were delivered next day with good communication. Upon opening the packages, one key component had significant damage and required replacement. I contacted F-123 and got the ball rolling with a fault report with photos. Then I read the reviews on this website and started to worry, as I got the impression from reviews that rectifying faults was not a priority for the company. I was wrong to worry. I spent the rest of the day trying toget a firm answer as to when the problem would be resolved, and didn't get very far, BUT at all stages furniture 123 did exactly what they said they would do. Here is the timeline. When I reported the fault, I was told I would have a response within 48 hours. I reported it on Monday morning and on Tuesday afternoon I had a call in person from the guy who was dealing with my problem to say that he was waiting for the manufacturer to confirm they had the past and could supply it immediately. He then emailed me at 6.30pm to confirm that it was ordered and I would hear from the courier with a delivery date. The courier confirmed the despatch on Wednesday for delivery Thursday, and the replacement past was delivered as planned. My conclusion is this: Accidents happen, no one deliberately sends out damaged items, and the measure of the company's level of customer service is how they resolve the problem. In my case Furniture 123 were very professional and resolved the problem as quickly as could reasonably be expected. Remember that most reviews are written by dissatisfied customers so you don't always get a balanced view of the company.

“Worst service - avoid”

Worst service on my order. Placed order and did not have the product delivered. No one bothered to contact us and let us know whether we were going to get the item delivered. Eventually I had to contact and was offered either the product or refund, by then it was almost 4 months since the order was placed. When refund was offered no compensation was offered, which means furniture123 had my money for 4 months and earned interest. Will not recommend to any of the friends and family. Also, taking this case up with Trading Standards. The customer service rep couldn't care less about any of the above information in my recent conversation.

“Use an other Company!”

Placed my order on the 11th August phoned company on the cancel one of the items on the 12th and was told no problem we will create a returns form just tell the delivery driver and he will bring the item back. Delivery come on the 13th The delivery driver REFUSED to take the item back!!! After 4 calls to furniture 123 I had one returned on the 17th saying yes we will come and collect the item but that will be a £20 charge, the item was only £55 No explanation as to why the delivery drive refused to take the item back!!!! Basically put up and PAY!!

“Awful company”

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought a bed for my son and it turned up damaged and they have done nothing to rectify the situation. Very unhappy. Poor quality products and even poorer customer service.

“Don't use this company”

I purchased a dining table and 6 chairs 2 weeks ago from this company. The items were actually delivered promptly in 5 separate boxes. As both myself and my husband work full time and are not DIY minded we arranged for a friend who is a professional joiner/shop-fitter to erect the dining set. Friend attempted to erect the chairs first but alerted me to the fact that the holes in the metal frame did not line up with the holes in the seatpads or chair backs. This was the same with all chairs and as it specifically stated I the instructions not to use power tools, he advised myself that items could not be build without causing extensive damage to the seat pads and chair backs. He advised me to contact company and return items. I contacted the company via telephone and furniture arranged to be uplifted 2 days later. Customer service agent asked if I could supply photos of faults but i explained holes very small and intricate and would be difficult to highlight in a photo. Company explained that refund would be issued when they received goods back and they had been examined and faults identified. Couriers uplifted 5 boxes as arranged 2 days later. I have been in contact via telephone and e message with the company over the past few days to chase up refund and feel very angry and frustrated. Initially they tell me they haven't received the returned items, then they tell me they are short of 1 box. Couriers now confirmed all 5 boxes were returned but unfortunately not back to source. They can't tell me how long my return will take to reach them, therefore they can't tell me when it will be examined and when I will be refunded the money. Returns policy states 30 days!!! How can item be delivered in 24-48 hours yet take possible 30 days to be taken back by same couriers!! This is not acceptable. Please stay away from this company.

“Possibly The Worst Furniture Selling Company in UK”

Ordered wooden dressing table 5 weeks ago. Payed extra £40 for delivery within 7 days. The money (approx. £250) came out of my bank account almost immediately 5 weeks ago. After many phone calls and email exchanges over the past 5 weeks we have had so many different stories of where and when the dresser would be delivered, it beggars belief. After wasting a lot of time and energy waiting for delivery on named days over the past 5 weeks and then to not have it delivered, only to be informed that the dresser had not even left the warehouse, let alone being delivered by a named courier company. Furniture123 are charlatans and at best liars. Today the dresser was final delivered, but now to add insult to injury it is so badly damaged it is not functional as new piece of furniture. After many email exchanges and photographs proving the degree of damage, the company customer services has a greed a full refund. Utterly remarkable that a company as well known online as Furniture 123 is still trading today. If our experience is a typical example of how they do business, then this company is destined for the creditors. DO NOT purchase anything from this company if you value your time and money.

“Terrible delivery”

If you want your items sent all together I suggest you give this company a wide berth. I ordered a bed and mattress together and as it was ordered from the same company (furniture 123) at the same time I expected the delivery to come all together...right?!.....wrong. I even paid extra to choose the day of my delivery. So the night before the delivery, I was told the bed frame would come between the hours of 07.40-11.40 (nothing arrived) and my pm delivery slot for the mattress was 2.45-6.45pm. A massive joke!!!!! It's now 6.30...the bed frame has arrived but no mattress. I am four months pregnant and have a toddler who needs bath and bedtime. I assumed that the goods would come from 1 warehouse....so furniture 123, if you are going to act like Amazon and utilize different shops and companies, then SPECIFY IT! On ordering you should have informed me that the items would be delivered separately. Time is precious to everyone, but you have totally abused my time today. I thank you so much for making me so so anxious today. £25 compensation is rubbish if you add up all the stress and phone calls I have made.

“Refunds are difficult”

I bought a Alaskan white Shoe cabinet. Looks great and serves it's purpose but for only a short time. However after only having it for 1 month, the door stoppers started to fall off, due to the weight once shoes are placed in. The stoppers now no longer hold in place and I am unable to screw it back on. Contacted customer services and because from the time i reported the fault to the time actually getting it resolved (less then 6 months), refund was not an option, only a 50% discount. Now I am stuck with a cabinet that barely functions.

“Absolutely shocking service”

We purchased a shoe store for our sons Xmas from furniture 123 . Unfortunately my husband passed away suddenly and unexpected, before we took delivery of this item, the family were distraught , and we had a funeral to arrange and financial affairs to deal with, we opened the shoe store only last week and found it to be damaged, mirror front completely smashed , we immediately phoned and emailed furniture 123 and explained the situation . They told us to our dismay they will not refund us or exchange item because we didn't inform them in there 7 day cooling off period. i am distraught that this company have no empathy toward us in what has been a very difficult time . we have a useless broken piece of furniture and are £ 170 poorer , it's utterly shameful the way they do business . I urge everyone , do not buy from this company EVER

“Don't go by the stock status”

Purchased item from this monkey business and also paid for express delivery! Surprise surprise day before delivery they didn't have the item in stock and the email was sent out at 20:00 and call centre was closed at 6pm. Luckily I was off all week and didn't waste a holiday! I will not be using again! Also a cost centre charging 10p a minute and waiting over 10minutes is a joke!

“Absolutely shocking treatment”

We recently purchased a shoe store from furniture 123 , for our sons Xmas, Tragically my husband passed away unexpectedly before this delivery arrived, the family were all extremely distraught, and had a funeral to arrange. we opened up the shoe store box only a few days ago , and discovered that the item is badly damaged , mirrored front is smashed. we immediately contacted furniture 123 by both telephone and email and were told that because we hadn't reported this in there 7 day cooling off policy , they will not help us. We are left with a broken , useless piece of furniture and are poorer by £170 . It just beggars belief they have no empathy whatsoever , I am completely distraught at there response , please do not buy anything from this company ever , and have to be treated in this shameful manner
