Received My First Box- Is Their Research Approved?
The idea is fantastic but implementation poor. Bad value for money. Products not tailored to individual (despite having personalized the section). Ask for opinion on product but survey highly biased&unpaid.
Essentially you pay for tiny sample products, which are not tailored to you. You then take part in a survey for a sample you had to pay for (including the shipping). I doubt the survey is approvied by the conduct of the market research society.
I hope I will find someone to take on the products now, as I paid 13 pounds for tiny samples which I am unable to use-unless I want to look orange after having used the face tint.

Tiny Products, Massive Packaging!
I subscribed to Glossybox for four months after reading about it in a magazine.
The packaging is beautiful and the website is nicely designed, but the most important thing (the beauty products) are not value for money at all.
Firstly, they are absolutely tiny. I'm sure that Glossybox make this clear on their website somewhere, but I thought I would be receiving scaled down versions of products, not sachets, tiny miniatures and literally sample sizes. Half the products can be used literally once - not great, especially for trialling skincare.
Regarding the products themselves, it was quite frustrating that I had marked that I had 'extremely oily' skin, and yet I kept receiving products that promised to 'drench' and 'quench' dry skin. Totally useless for me, and a bit annoying, especially as they were often from the nicest brands.
One last thing: the packaging. There is tons of it! Trees and trees must've been killed to wrap up five items that could fit in a teacup! Totally environmentally unfriendly.
All in all, lovely idea, especially for a beauty junkie like me, but I've just ended up with dozens of tiny products I'll never use and can't give as gifts.
