I ordered the Frozrn dvd and Beauty & the beast in september for part of my grandaughters christmas, I sent an e-mail asking where they were, I have not had a reply and after reading the previous reviews i now know that I wont be receiving them, this company should be taken to court 

The name of the company makes it sound like it is UK based but its not. I placed an order for Frozen & got email to say it was being shipped from overseas & would arrive in 2-3 weeks. This was on 21st September & I am still waiting for the dvd!! I have sent at least 10 emails & have not had any reply to them!! Do not waste your money but using this site

I ordered a DVD thinking it was a UK company as the co.uk suggests and said the DVD would be dispatched immediately. Only a couple of days later I had an email saying that it was going to be dispatched from it's international warehouse and would take 2 weeks! Over 2 weeks later it hadn't arrived so I emailed. 2 months later it and after another unanswered email it hadn't arrived. Luckily I paid via PayPal and they refunded me. Avoid them at all times!!!!

Having just read the reviews on this 'company' it seems all I need to do is copy and paste any one of them! Ordered the Frozen dvd on 6th September 2014 and to date nothing has been received. 5 emails have been sent to them with no response and no telephone number given. AVOID THIS SHOWER AT ALL COSTS.

Wish I had searched this company before using them. 2 months on no dvd arrived and no response to emails, sent to both email addresses. It is all clearly a complete money making scheme with Chaiya Kantha in Thailand making a mint. I have submitted a report via action fraud website. Hopefully the more people that do so, the more chance there is of the website being shut down. Yes they can just create another, but every little helps. I have also submitted a complaint to Paypal to hopefully receive a refund. Mixed success with this one so I wont be holding out.

I ordered a Frozen dvd for my daughter from this website. I received an email the same day to confirm my order had been dispatched. This was in August, to this date I have never received the item. I don't believe it was ever sent. These people are scam artists. I have emailed a few times to which i received no response. There is no postal address on the website and now I look and can't believe i was ever stupid enough to order from them. I have spoken with the UK European Consumer Centre and they have told me that the domain address originates from Thailand. have applied to my credit card company to get my money back. Never ever use!!

Ordered Frozen, and like a few others never received the DVD. Did a chargeback via credit card ok though

Was searching online for frozen and lego movie dvd. DVD house website was top google listing. Website at a quick glance looked genuine. I became suspicious when an email sent to me after ordering said international shipping will take two to three weeks. I went back to the website and there was no mention of international shipping on it. When the DVDs eventually arrived the envelope had a post mark of Thailand-at this point I knew what would be inside. Sure enough when I opened them they were copies and bad ones at that. Absolutely furious! I tried twice to contact through the website and received no reply. I then sent the invoice number via paypal in an email and again didn't receive a reply. The website has no phone number which is dodgy in itself. I decided to go back to paypal. I understand from this review site that this has had varying success. I put a dispute in through paypal to try to get my money back, immediately raised it to a claim against the company and received an email today that suggested paypal were struggling to get any information from the company and that they would settle the claim in my favour. Seriously, the website is still trading, when is someone going to shut it down??

I ordered 2 dvd's on 7th Sept 2014 for my son's birthday, and to date (4th October 2014), they have still not arrived. I have sent messages on two occasions, neither of which have been replied to. There is no phone number on the website to contact them. I wish I had checked them out before ordering, but was lured in by the thought of getting a bargain!

DVD arrived after 2 weeks as expected but it was not the DVD ordered a fake copy of Frozen. Trying to communicate with them after sales is a waste of time! I hope they go out of business - their offers are NOT genuine!!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I ordered the Frozen DVD 14th August 2014 for my daughter's birthday and it still hasn't arrived as at 29th September, I have sent 4 messages to this company and have had no acknowledgement whatsoever. I cannot find any trading address or contact number on the site so it appears my money has disappeared along with my order!!!!!

Believed this site to be UK based, as a .co.uk website address. I was wrong. A questionable DVD arrived - which I have now guessed is fake - no initial menu, and plays in a different language. A very upset little girl, and a frustrated parent. Wish I could leave no stars for the rating!! AVOID!!

Do not touch this firm with a barge pole! I ordered the new Disney 'Frozen' DVD for what looked like a reasonable price. It arrived from Thailand which accounted for its slow arrival. On opening the envelope I was immediately suspicious. * The artwork looked different from what I had seen. * The DVD is Region 1 (the website said UK/Europe compatible) * The artwork said that the DVD was not to be sold outside of the USA & Canada * There was no Disney hologram I've queried these matters via the 'contact' page on the website but, surprise, surprise, no reply! I've now raised this for a refund via PayPal. Interestingly the contact email address shown by PayPal is [email protected] which is different form the email address on the website. Clearly a clever scam, especially as the '.co.uk' website looks very professional. I'll stick with Amazon and ebay in the future! Pity we can't leave the star ratings blank! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

My Disney order arrived after 3 weeks. All foreign fakes. Jungle book is jungle boek. Frozen is a bad copy, sleeping beauty won't play. Etc etc. Do not buy from here. I got my money back from PayPal who were fantastic thankfully.

This site is based in Thailand and will send you a poor quality fake. I opened a paypal dispute on an £8 quid DVD, and was told by Paypal that I must return the DVD to Thailand by tracked post to get a refund. The cost of tracked post to Thailand? £53.00! Anyway, I emailed Paypal back to state the DVD had been taken to the police station, subsequently confiscated and I was advised by the police that if I keep it, I could face prosecution. If I returned the DVD, I could also face proescution as it keeps the DVD in the market place.So 8 quid down the drain, not much in the scheme of things, but certainly learnt my lesson. Trust me, be aware of this fake site operated from someones house in Thailand! The web site is very alluring and professional looking, obviously designed to fool unsuspecting members of the public into thinking they are buying UK based original quality products.

This website appears to sell fake DVDs. DO NOT attempt to purchase from DVDHouse.co.uk. A very professionally presented website. I ordered Disney's Frozen at a very competitive price. As soon as the product was delivered (packaging indicated the delivery was from Thailand) it was clearly not the authentic Disney product. The film on the DVD does appear to be the original film but the language is in what I assume to be Thai.

misleading customers, item supposed to be available for immediate dispatch, three weeks nothing, no communication... AVOID!

Ordered from what I thought was a uk seller online on 31 August 2014. Attracted by special price for Frozen and ended up ordering other Disney DVDs which were not cheap (although competitively priced similar to amazon) to avoid paying the p & P. Got my order within 2 weeks but from Thailand. Frozen definitely a copy and all DVDs could not be played on a DVD player but only on a PC or laptop and were of questionable source. Packaging looked suspicious particularly with the Chinese characters on a couple of them, with the printing not quite right! Also stated not to be sold outside of Us and Canada and also had NTSC on it. Also received a wrong item. Sent an email - no response. Now raising a dispute with Paypal who confirms a refund subject to the returning of the DVds to a Thailand address. Have pointed out that would be illegal and also not economical and risky. Plus paypal should be making security checks for money laundering purposes. I await a further response. in hindsight the lack of a Uk address and contact should have sent alarm bells rining. No star if it could be awarded and do not bother returning as it's all fake including their returns policy. No doubt they will close down the website and set up under another UK named website.
