Obviously I had my reservations like everyone else when they see something too good to be true - actually had to look for reviews on trust pilot. It was simply the best deal for such a great smartphone. lowest prices of all traders (for a new p30) and the delivery and tracking was great. New phone meant new phone too. Not sure why it's not that well known a shop but I am convinced I will do business with them again.

I bought a Samsung Tablet from this company. It didn't work. Returned it at my own expense twice. Both times it failed to work. Customer service very friendly but you will never get a refund if anything goes wrong in my experience. Don't buy from this company

We recently purchased a JVC 24" Smart Tv via the internet from District Electricals. This was listed as a customer return with a full 12 month warranty. We were attracted by the price, saving around £35 off the retail price.

We think it's only natural to be slightly dubious about buying from a company for the first time. However, after reading mostly excellent reviews from other customers we decided to take the plunge and go ahead, and with no regrets! We are made up with the television!

From the outset of the purchase we were kept fully informed of the order progress via email, including date of dispatch and expected delivery for the courier. The TV was delivered 48 hours after placing the order. Despite some reviews arguing the cost of delivery to be too high, the £6.99 signed for delivery was in our opinion very reasonable.

All in all a pleasant business transaction indeed. Top marks to District Electricals... Perfick!!!

I ordered a Dyson AM05 fan which was discounted. It didn't say that the product was a recycled/returned item but I can't imagine why the fan would be wrapped in bubble wrap in a plain box if it wasn't. The box was much too big for the fan so it had been rattling around inside during transit. It seems OK except for a scuff mark on the top. Unfortunately I don't have time to return it as I need it for a visitor. Recommended however due to price. They also use DPD which are one of the best delivery companies.

On line shopping can be a little hit and miss but having found the item I wanted I began the search for the best price which this company achieved. I ordered by ringing them as I had never used them before and am always wary of business with which I have no previous business relationship. The initial contact was excellent my order was processed in double quick time and the item arrived exactly as stated. I stupidly unpacked the item and lost my paperwork but contacted them for a copy which the supplied within 24. Responses have been prompt polite and appropriate and I could not have been treated better.

I recently purchased a combination microwave from District Electricals. The webpage was a little misleading and I was expecting the microwave to be delivered the next day. The company keep you informed at every step of the transaction and they emailed to let me know my delivery date. It was only a day later than I expected but being without an oven, I was keen to get it. I emailed to say I was expecting it sooner and got an almost instant reply. Without having to explain why I'd like it sooner, she apologized for the misunderstanding and managed to get it dispatched that day.

When the item arrived it had a broken clip on the drip tray (I knew it had been opened and returned but not used). Again I emailed and had an almost immediate response with another apology and within a couple of days, a replacement drip tray arrived.

The item itself is brilliant and it was about 20% cheaper than I could find anywhere else.

I'd be more than happy to buy from this company again and I'm telling friends and family to look here first too!

This product was excellent vale for money, much cheaper than I'd seen it anywhere else. The delivery was not only fast, but I was kept up to date with when it would be delivered, with an hour slot on the day.

A part came loose in transit so I emailed the company. I was sent an email back with detailed instructions and photos of how to fit the part, which turned out to be simple!

I ordered a regular TV for our upstairs only to find when delivered that the digital signal at our house was poor and really not good enough to use the TV. Without hesitation District Electricals exchanged the TV for a smart TV within a few days and at no cost to me (despite the first TV being in good order). The new one is ideal and was significantly cheaper than buying the same model from elsewhere. No brainer.
