“BEWARE OF PET SCAMS”

★☆☆☆☆

written by BobBobbington on 29/09/2011

*BEWARE WHEN BUYING PETS* There are many ads on Locanto that are advertising purebred puppies for free or a very low price, and once contacted they reply with a story about a lost loved one/business commitments/can't afford to look after the pet. This is known as the Cameroon Pet Scam, and many people all over the world have unfortunately become victim to it and lost a lot of money.
Look out for:
1. Emails in broken English and incorrect grammar.
2. Unusual or soppy replies as to why they're giving a purebred pet away.
3. Requests for 'delivery fee' to be transferred with Money Gram or Western Union.

If you pay these people, you will not receive anything! There are no puppies!
It's best to meet the breeder in person, if they are legitimate they will be proud to show you their dogs.
