A complete waste of time and money on this company and the vehicle. Brought this car for my son's birthday, it was working fine for a couple of weeks until the remote stopped working. This took awhile to come, nevertheless we were happy that my son could enjoy his new ride. Couple of weeks later the car completely stopped working. After numerous emails/ calls since January this year I finally managed to get through. They offered a refund but wanted us to send the vehicle back (which we have done), but again after countless of unanswered emails and calls i'm still waiting! Absolutely awful! I plea for everyone to read the reviews when purchasing from this company, as you will be very disappointed with the vehicle aswell as the customer service

Purchase and delivery of course were fine, however you only really learn about a business when something goes wrong. They appear to have no interest in resolving the problem, when they do send an email which is painfully slow it is a stalling email and you get no closer to sorting the problem out. I’m now just going to try to source replacement parts myself to sort the +£200 jeep that hasn’t been working for + 6months now. Please DO NOT PURCHASE FROM Kids cars direct, save yourself the hassle.

DO NOT BUY !!!! We bought a ford ranger 24v £350 during lockdown for our children’s join birthday. We got the car and put it together and it was perfect, the kids loved it. Or so we thought it was perfect. Then next day we took the car for a drive and after 15 minutes the car packed in. We thought maybe we didn’t charge correctly so charged again for 8 hours (recommended time) then took it out again. Once again after 15 minutes it stopped working. I emailed as the phone lines weren’t operational and the sales manager appeared to be really helpful, he said what he thought it could be and asked us to send readings etc and admitted himself the car wasn’t working to what it should. He said he would send out parts. We never received the parts and emails continued for around 8 weeks. He was basically stalling us I Think. He then cut all contact and we are left with a £350 car that does not work !!!!! DISGUSTING!!!! TERRIBLE COMPANY !!!

Absolute con-artists - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Ordered the wrong car in error (my fault)! Tried to return within the time period but couldn't get through to the number and emails do not get responded to. Eventually someone got back to me, I managed to return the car expecting a refund. This was over a year ago - still no refund and to be honest I have no hope that I will get a refund. I paid almost £30 to return this very large parcel and they claim they never received it! In the meantime whilst trying to return the car ordered in error - I placed an order for the correct one - this arrived but was damaged - again they had no interest in this.

Ordered the Jaguar F Type, a good price and looks great. No sound functions work so I emailed to ask for advice. The reply asked if I had connected it correctly, I replied yes. There were no more replies to further enquiries. They also promised personalised plates and driver's licence would follow. They haven't and no reply to my emails enquiring where they are. It's a nice car, I'm not too concerned about the lack of sound or to be honest the plates, but the complete lack of customer service means I'll never use them again. If the faults had been more serious I doubt they would be resolved and I would have wasted my money.

Trying to get a refund for a faulty car, very hard to get hold of them, I have sent about 30 emails and had to get the bank involved. They have collected the car but still no refund. I don’t recommend buying from this company.

I brought a jaguar f type when I went to assemble it the caster wheels was missing from the rear and handle missing from the undercarrage front of car and scratch on door. I called customer services they asked me to take photos and email them to them which I did then I heard nothing so I called back this time I was told this car does not come with those parts, My answer to this was what am I suposed to do when the battery goes flat n I was told you have to CARRY IT (Are they crazy) so explains I wasn't happy with that after paying £220 I was then told I would have to contact the manufactuar I said I tell you what I will return the car and expect a full refund!!

Not happy at all clearly states that you get a driver pack with the car which has never turned up. You try to contact them and they never email you back. If going to order a electric car for your child I recommend ride on car for kids I got the first one off them and was perfect but the one from here didn't go together properly either and never received the driver pack or registration plate

I brought a car from here my son went out once it run out of battery charged it didn’t come back on so I contacted them told them they was good and sent a new car so plays a few time in the house once outside it runs out of battery charge it as you do same thing again stops working so they told me it’s the charger I told them I have two chargers as they still haven’t taken the first car back they make me prove I have two chargers so I did they then said they will send a charger or battery when photo was seen I had to they said we don’t sell battery’s go buy one they are only 10 pound I’m so angry

I ordered a Jaguar kids car and it arrived the next day. It looks great and was easy to assemble, I wish they did these when I was a kid! My son will love it thank you.

Utter joke! Car arrived ontime but was damaged in three different places! Website stated the opening times on a Friday of 8am-4pm called from 8am all the way till 9:30 when they finally answered and advised me they open at 9 and the website is wrong but still haven’t changed it on the website. Upon speaking to a member of staff who advised I can drive to them and swap the car myself aswell as they driver pack which had apparently been sent separately but still not arrived 3days after car arrived. and only compensated me £20 for my travel (never mind the inconvenience as they “don’t cover anything else. After doing so and driving home only to find the new car had no instruction manual, no bonnet and no windscreen and still no driver pack after they advised me they checked the car and all was in the box and no damage! My sons birthday was the Monday and they aren’t open on the weekend! Will never use or recommend this company! Now awaiting them to collect the car and refund me!!!

I purchased a car in July and despite a few requests for the number plate I have had no response and still not received the number plate 2.5 months later. I have found no one answers the phone.

We bought a car from Tesco which had been supplied by Kids Car Direct. We have had endless issues with the car breaking and them blaming us. The car was bought for our 3yr old in April 2017, it turned up marked, the gear box went and now the front metal axel has broken which they have blamed for turning the car in circles?!? They and Tesco have been appalling in helping resolve these issues and would not purchase through either of them.

We have had never ending problems from a car bought for us as a gift. It failed within a few months and hasn't worked for last year plus. One problem after another. Brother had two cars from this place also for his Children and those broke very quickly. I wouldn't buy another thing from this company unfortunately. Really poor quality cars not fit for purpose.
