CJReki's review of Viagogo -

“Very very poor! Do not bother! Should be called ViaNOgo!”

Tried to buy 5 tickets through viagogo for a festival a month in advance of the festival start date. Still no tickets delivered 3 days before the festival start date, when calling Viagogo they lied saying that the tickets were on the way, special delivery, from the "seller" (Sellers can hide behind the veil of Viagogo and there are no guarantee's for the buyer - should have been the first clue). Call Viagogo again the day after (now 2 days before the festival), as tickets have still not arrived, to be informed that the seller did not recieve the tickets and that they had been "lost in transit" (Not possible given that tickets are sent out special/recorded delivery) and that Viagogo are sourcing replacement tickets from "their marketplace". When viagogo were told that there are tickets on their marketplace they come back with "But they are much more than what you paid for tickets". When viagogo are informed of their guarantee to buyers to either source new tickets or give a full refund - they opt with REFUND! As they do not honour any real guarantee.

The kicker is that the refund takes 3-4 working days to come through - so what if you don't have the funds to find replacement tickets? Short answer: Tough sh1t.

Most likely the seller re-sold the tickets for a higher price to someone else, although there is no vetting of sellers by viagogo, certainly not visible to the buyers.

May as well use eBay (which we did in the end) Oh and i'm still waiting for my refund.

Avoid at all costs, if you want to go to any event that is!
